Getting on target

Lots of new and maybe a number of not so new shooters seem to reach a level and then get stuck there, floundering with poor scores and not knowing why. With a little self-analysis and a plan this can easily be resolved.

Let’s take a typical scenario: two shooters shoot a 100 bird Sporting round at their local ground, 10 stands of 10 per stand. One shoots seven stands straight and misses everything on three stands, resulting in a score of 70 out
