About this ebook
Every relationship is built on mutual understanding of the terms of their connections and what each party contributes to their togetherness. But the first step towards mutual existence is to study and understanding the nature, character and integrity of one another.
This book is written from a deep sense of how the lack of understanding of the true nature of God is affecting the strength of His relationship with man thereby limiting what, and how much of His intended and already provided benefits man is missing out on. Man has little to offer in this relationship other than to believe and receive all that God has done, but ignorance and wrong teachings are denying man's access to God's abundant provision.
Understanding the True Nature of God is written to highlight and correct some of the erroneous thoughts, mindsets and popular belief with which man approaches God especially since we are under the new dispensation of grace and love rather than the old platform of laws, rules, and regulations. This understanding will build man's trust in God and anchor his faith in who God is, in what He has done, and provided for man to receive freely.

Introduction
The strength and quality of every relationship are dependent on many pillars that under guard the weight of such a relationship. There are obligations and benefits for both parties and mere good intentions are not enough, the keys to a thriving relationship start with an in-depth knowledge of what and who the other party in the relationship constitutes.
While there is general information in circulation about all parties, but it is incumbent on both parties to dig deeper and strengthen their relationships based on identity, nature, and characters of each other.
Having been in church and around Christianity for almost three decades, I concluded that there is more to God than what we see, told, and believe. This hunger for more of Him rather than religion, rituals, and tradition spurred the search that has now culminated in this book – Understanding the True Nature of God. What I found changed my perception of who God is and what His plans and established covenants are towards man and this, to my surprise is far from what many have spent their entire lives believing and defending, in my case for almost three decades.
There is a major difference between God and religion! Many Christians are today confused and despondent about what they thought Christianity is about, what their expectations are when they came to God and over time, such disappointment has been replaced with rituals, traditions, and expectations that are not founded on the truth of the word of God.
Many feel trapped while others feel they have gone too far into it for them to turn back, However, doing the wrong thing based on the wrong doctrine and hoping for a right result will not change the outcome. In the same way, praying, fasting, etc., will not change the outcome because the seed was planted on falsehood.
A thorough understanding of the differences between the law and love dispensations is a good place to start unwrapping this conundrum. God’s relationship with man started on a pure love footing but when man fell in the Garden of Eden and instead of trying to get up only continued to dig a bigger grave, God gave the law through Moses to help man realise how far he has been separated from God. Unfortunately, man became enslaved to these principles and was driving further away from God by his choosing. However, God made provision for man to be reconciled when He gave His son in ransom for man’s disobedience.
Unfortunately, many who received the grace of God’s love and walked the path of redemption only stopped the process at salvation and before long, because man’s mind is still very much attached to the old ways, they started adopting the way of the law as a lifestyle even though they are now under a different dispensation – the life of God fueled by His love.
Instead of the church being filled with the love of
