According to your faith

Christians often want to believe God for more. We know nothing is too hard for Him, but we don't always know how to receive from God and have unwavering faith for His promises. This book guides Christians through the process of receiving God's promises and breaking through the barrier that hinders us from believing Him for more.

 

Jesus Christ said in Matthew 9:29 that everything will be done for us according to the trust and confidence we have in His power and ability. The detailed steps on how to have faith that gets results include:

- Meditating on God's promises

- Confessing God's Word over your situation

- Receiving the promises when you pray

- Giving thanks to God

 

None of these steps will work unless we first build confidence in God and believe it's His will to bless us. To get effective results, we need to humbly submit to His way of doing things and not allow ourselves to harden our hearts.

Introduction

With every sermon we hear that highlights the goodness and love of God, we never fail to magnify how God can do anything and that it’s His great pleasure to manifest our hearts’ desires. The reality we live in is often further from the truth than we like. We continually hear that we should seek the Kingdom of God first and that whatever desires we have in our hearts will come to pass.

Committing to seeking God’s way leads to the revelation imperative of receiving God’s promises without fail. Every piece of this puzzle is crucial to leaving behind the looming reality of hit or miss and starting to successfully manifest every promise made by God. May the Holy Spirit lead you to the revelation you require to break down every stronghold that keeps you from believing God for more and reaching for those promises.

Chapter 1: Awaken your confidence in God

Every hope we have is embedded in our knowledge of the possibility of it coming to pass. When we have hope that God can perform, that hope is embedded in the knowledge that God can make it come to pass. But hope is not faith; hope is not a certainty that He will perform it; hope is not absolute confidence in His will to perform it. We must first have complete faith in His power and ability to carry it out. Then have unshakable confidence in His will to perform it for us.

Remember Hebrews 11:1: Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality - faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. Further, in Hebrews 11:3, it says, By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God].

We need to fully understand and not alter the reality that faith is now. It’s not a future event. Hope can be placed in the future, but faith is a current event. When you find yourself pushing your convictions into the future, and you know in your heart that you do not believe it’s now, then you’re hoping and
