Daughter

She is the second of her kind. 

She is shorter than the first.

She takes the steps it takes to be right,

she does what she can to step in line. 

She listens to the ones before.

She is patient, she is watchful,

she tries to be like a mother in mind. 

The idea of the perfect child,

a lingering thought no matter near or far. 

She is beautiful, she takes the time. 

She travels here and away,

but no matter who’s there,

she will always be the daughter from above. 

Her

Brown and green is she.

Trees whisper secrets from Him,

they guide her in all.

Who Are We?

So much love in perfection, children of God. Nothing can be wrong in those eyes,

no matter how time flies.

Purest of the kind,

it’s always up to the one Mind.

The gem that you are,

oh you'll go far.
