Book 1 – Minimalism: With ease to more order, happiness and contentment in your life

    Valuable pages for you

Did you know that about a hundred years ago the average citizen in Germany owned around 1,000 items and today every German owns around 10,000 items on average!?

Possession is a burden and not only of a material, physical nature. Quite a few people feel oppressed by their immaterial, psychological ballast. Minimalism helps, because minimalism encompasses more than you might think.

In this book, I shed light on a wide variety of areas to which you can relate minimalism. Whether you are a beginner and new to minimalism or you are already familiar with it, this book is sure to give you some new insights.

In order to sort out your material possessions, various methods are described which you can use. Or you can develop your own individual system. Minimalism can be purely about material minimization, but this book goes deeper.

I dedicate myself comprehensively to the topic, which is often not easy even for experienced minimalists: minimalism and interpersonal relationships. I will give you answers to the questions that begin with Why, Which and How.

Have you ever heard of digital minimalism? In the so-called digital age, the digital load is high due to constant availability, distraction around the clock and new devices with almost unbelievable functions. I'll answer what exactly that means and what effects it has on your life. You will also find efficient advice on how to digitally minimize yourself in my clear guide.

Making decisions is a daily task in life and intensifies when minimizing. Sometimes this can be very difficult and also stressful, which is why I show different approaches to decision-making in the bonus part of the book.

You will also learn from me how to question your behavior and your habits, sort out or transform the negative for yourself and I will give you instructions, practical tips and tricks that will help you to live a minimalist life. You will find more about yourself, your purpose in life and your zest for life. And that for the long term! After all, that is what minimalism is all about: finding more happiness and contentment in life.

minimalism. For some people it means downsizing their personal belongings, for others it is a complete life transformation. Whatever you decide, this book will definitely be of use to you and will help you, I'm sure of it! My advice to you: Take a highlighter with you while reading and mark the passages that you consider useful. This makes reading much easier for you.

Dear readers, start your minimalist life now and achieve happiness and contentment!

    Have fun!

    What is minimalism?

Minimalism basically describes a lifestyle. Some also say that it's just a trend, but many people find more satisfaction through a minimalist life and do you really want to do without it again? I think that minimalism can become an important part of life, including your life!

Minimalism creates space for the essential.

This lifestyle is about directing your focus to really important or meaningful things and aligning your life in such a way that you feel good. Because people have different ideas and values, every minimalism lives differently. There are almost no rules, except for the following: Everything you keep in your life, you use or bring you joy. Things and beliefs that stop you, burden you, stress you out, slow you down or take your time, you let go. Minimalism has a lot to do with letting go, releasing and also freedom. I would like to briefly show you an example of how to let go of a burdensome way of thinking. Imagine you have a well-paid job, you are satisfied with the working conditions and suddenly you have the opportunity to achieve a higher status in professional life and earn more. You have the striving for it, although you secretly know that you don't need it. After a short time in the new work area, you realize that the job doesn't fulfill you at all, you're tired of torturing yourself with overtime, and all this stress is reflected in your health. At this point, you learn about minimalism and start focusing on what you really want. You let go of striving for outward appearances, begin to live minimalistically, allocate your time, attention and money according to your individual values and take your life into your own hands.

Be aware: Minimalism in the sense of the attitude to life cannot be realized overnight and there is no goal. It is (your) a personal, unique path to more time, peace, freedom, lightness, clarity, happiness, joie de vivre and meaning in your life.

Why live minimalist? - The advantages

You might be wondering why you should care about minimalism at all? Why is a minimalist life useful? What are the benefits of this lifestyle?

Through minimalism you not only let go of conscious burdens, but you will also free yourself from unconscious ballast. A completely new attitude to life will set in and the achievement of goals happens faster and more effectively, since you free yourself from obstacles with this lifestyle. The more you live minimalistically, the more you achieve simplicity, self-determination, clarity and ultimately satisfaction.

Below I've outlined some of the direct benefits of living a minimalist life, but there are many other attendant benefits as well.

    Save money with minimalism

With a minimalist lifestyle, you spend less money because the less you buy, the more stays in your account. This happens because you question your consumer behavior and buy wisely. You pay attention to the value, the quality and the meaning of the thing. In addition, advertising no longer gets through to you so easily and you take your time for the purchase decision. All of this means that you save money.

    ––––––––

    Minimalism creates (more) space

Minimalism also means, among other things, that you separate yourself from material things and consciously refrain from constant consumption and accumulation. There is more space, you have less to clean and the rooms appear tidy and liberating and clear without unnecessary ballast. Free areas have a calming effect, as does discreet
