Laurie Bowler is a bestselling fantasy author residing in Hampshire, a county in the United Kingdom, where she started writing fantasy fiction in late November 2009.    After reading hundreds of fantasy novels, Laurie knew she wanted to write within that genre. Chapter One

M arko, did you find the book yet? I knew it would take a long time to locate it, but not like this, says a person in a blue jacket to Marko.

Not yet, and there's nothing much in this library. We searched far and wide only to find a torn book, Marko showed a torn, rusty book he found in his bag.

Marko and his classmate, Valir are from Avantie City; they went to a local library to search for information on a book named 'The Sacred Firaty Altar'. A book that their teacher wanted to read. Marko and Valir accepted the quest from their teacher to locate the book. He said the book had been released last year, and a dozen of them would be in the local library and spread around the city in different bookstores.

When all places had been scoured, and the pair were out of options, they reported back to their teacher.

Weird, you two searched the entire city but haven't even found one? That can't be right.

So, what do we do now, sir? asked Valir.

Moments later, after discussing the book's disappearance, Valir checks his bag and finds the torn book gone. They found the last one in a library near Marko's house.

Oh, God... This is beyond my expectations! The teacher panicked.

Marko wondered why their teacher, Zandi, feared and reacted so dramatically over losing that book. He had told them it was one of three books created to expand the local treasury of ancient civilisation in Avantie City and some neighbouring cities. And for him, the book is very 'special' because he believes the content differs from the other two books.
