Joanne Morrell is a writer, author and podcaster based in Perth Western Australia, where she was born, but grew up in a little fishing village off the East Coast of Edinburgh in Scotland. She is the founder of her local book club, wife and mother of two, and host and creator of The HYBRID Author Podcast, producing weekly episodes interviewing Industry professionals on all aspects which make up a hybrid author career.Her non fiction Author Linings series has been written through lived experience and focuses on the physical and emotional aspects which make up having a successful author career.

The Macquarie Dictionary defines fear as: 'the feeling or condition of being afraid'.
Fear is seen as a bad thing. A scary thing. A thing to be anxious about. But without fear we wouldn't be able to overcome what makes us feel this way. Fear is a good thing. It keeps us alive and it makes us stronger
