--
Kaida paused. "Do you want me to stop?" she whispered. She sounded breathless, strained. Sakura smiled: Kaida was desperately aroused.
"No," Sakura whispered. "Don't stop." She shivered when Kaida started to kiss her neck, and the big woman whispered between kisses, "I missed you . . . so much . . ."
--
"Take me with you when you leave here!" the girl whispered urgently.
Miyu's brows went up. "What? Why?"
"Because you're beautiful and strong!" the girl admitted, blushing. "And so are your friends! I saw what they did to the teahouse! There were only three of them and they wrecked this place! And after K-Katsura's capture—"
Capture? Miyu thought in surprise. It was unlike Izumi to capture her enemies. She usually left no one breathing after such takeovers.
"—I don't want to stay here and pour Izumi's tea!" the girl went on helplessly. "You can protect me! Take me from here, and I'll let you touch anything you want!" She blushed a little as she said it, a lick of blonde hair falling into her pleading eyes.
Miyu took her hand off the door and stepped back, sliding her hands in her pockets as her eyes scanned the girl. It was hard to tell what she had to offer under that thick kimono.
"Show me your tits," Miyu said quietly.
The girl blushed to her hairline, but as if she was used to such requests, she shyly fanned her pale lashes down and pushed open the collar of her kimono, letting it sag open to reveal one of her perky breasts.
--
Miyu looked around to find the little fox scowling up at her. "You never did like me, Jun. What's your deal?" she asked, sliding her sunglasses on her nose.
Jun scoffed. "Not everyone has to like everyone." She jerked her head at the teahouse. "If you're here to see Izumi, she's waiting for you. She had a feeling you'd come crawling back, bug that you are."
Miyu frowned. "I ain't come crawling back," she said irritably around the e-cig.
Jun raised her orange brows. "Sure, you ain't," she said sarcastically. "Just like I'm sure Shira didn't kick your sorry ass out either. Did Koharu give you that bloody kisser? Nice."
Miyu tensed, then pushed herself away from the car and ripped the e-cig from her mouth. She didn't know what she was going to do or why Jun had always gotten under her skin so easily. Probably because Jun wasn't afraid to hurl the truth at her and never had been. She looked down at the smug fox with hatred through her sunglasses and fantasized about kicking her away like a football.
--
"I'm here because I need your help," Miyu said a little loudly, and Izumi stopped laughing to regard her with interest.
"Oh?"
"I know your help has a price," Miyu went on unhappily, "and I'm willing to pay it, whatever it is."
Izumi stared at Miyu intently. "This is about that cat-girl, isn't it? The one the gangs are fighting over. Nozomi has been insufferable since Koharu got away with her." She rolled her eyes.
"I know you don't want to cross Nozmoi—"
"Please," said Izumi at once. "I'm not afraid of that discount, video game crime boss."

Candy, Sweat, and Regret - Ash Gray
Chapter 1
Sakura had been out for an hour, and Miyu didn’t know what to do. At least the girl had stopped foaming at the mouth. It was clearly an OD. Miyu should never have given her those Z Balls. They’d obviously been laced with something, and she would kill Kiki for this!
Miyu paced up and down. She was in the small room she had rented on the second floor of Pink Rocket, the lesbian nightclub slash hotel where she was supposed to meet up with Koharu, Kaida, and Ren. The other members of Shira hadn’t turned up yet, though Ren had phoned ahead, announcing that they were on their way. Boy, were they going to be pissed when they got here. Ren, being the uber nerd of uber nerds, had never approved of Miyu’s drug use, but Koharu would lose her shit when she found out Sakura had not only been given drugs again but had overdosed as well. Kaida would be the most reasonable but no less pissed. Miyu dreaded having to face the three of them. It would be three against one, and after all that had happened, she wasn’t sure she had the energy.
Sakura had OD’d while she and Miyu were having sex. Miyu had thought the girl was orgasming, until she looked up and saw the white bubbles coming out of her mouth. Miyu was so distraught that she hadn’t even dressed herself, and an entire hour later, she was still in her black boxer briefs and sports bra, her rumpled jeans and leather jacket forgotten on the floor. Poor Sakura, meanwhile, was completely naked as she lay on the bed in her half-coma, red hair a tousled mess around her small face.
What to do? What to do?
Sakura looked so thin and feeble on the double bed, on her back, eyes closed. An hour before, she had been shaking and foaming at the mouth, had bitten her tongue so that blood dribbled from her lips. Miyu had given her something to calm her down and had topped it off with booze – not the smartest thing to have done, but it was all she had – and now Sakura was sleeping quietly on the bed. She was still pale and looked drained, almost comatose. Miyu couldn’t wake her.
Miyu paced the dark room up and down, as beyond the window, the city lights winked in a spreading web of diamonds. She pushed the long, messy, pink hair back from her eyes as she struggled to decide on what to do. She could find Kiki and get her to help, but that would mean leaving Sakura alone, and the last thing she wanted was to return and find the girl dead. Maybe she could call Kiki and have her come there instead.
Yeah, yeah,
Miyu muttered to herself, on the verge of panicking. She paused at the foot of the bed and knelt down, rummaging in her jeans. Her smartphone slid out of the back pocket and clattered on the floor harmlessly in its protective case. With fumbling hands, Miyu hastily picked up the phone and woke it with a swipe of her thumb. She dialed Kiki, and after a few rings, the woman answered.
Wasssssuuuup?!
Kiki shouted wildly. It’s Miyu,
she said happily to someone in the background. Miyu is on the phone!
Hi, Mimi!
someone yelled in girlish delight.
What’s up, baby?
Kiki happily slurred.
Shit, are you drunk?
Miyu wearily demanded.
Kiki giggled. Why? You lookin’ for a good time, baby? I’ve got Nise here, and we could make it a threesome tonight, like old times—
Shut up!
Miyu snapped. Shut up and listen to me!
Hey . . .
said Kiki slowly. Now she sounded concerned. What’s the matter? You sound pissed. Maybe you need more Z.
Or a tongue in her pussy!
Nise yelled in the background. It’s right here, baby!
There was a slurping sound.
Miyu sighed. No, I need you to shut the fuck up and listen,
she said through her teeth. She glanced at the bed, where Sakura lay limply on her back. I gave your Z Balls to a friend, and they fucked her up bad and—!
I told you they were intense,
scolded Kiki irritably. Not the regular load, Miyu. They’re five by fives. You can only take five every five fucking hours! Five—!
I know, I know,
said Miyu miserably, eyes closed. She glanced at the bed again, the phone to her ear. Can you just get your ass over here and fix this?
Kiki laughed weakly. Fix it how? I’m a dealer, notta doctor. Where’s Doc? Can’t she help you?
I’m trying to keep Mama Ren from knowing about this. You know how she is.
Ha. Yeah, I do. Tell you what. . .
Kiki paused and there was a giggle in the background. Music was also playing, and people were shouting and laughing. Miyu knew Kiki must’ve been at a party or a club. Typical. Where are you?
Kiki asked.
The Pink Rocket, Room 112,
Miyu answered.
All right,
said Kiki distractedly. I’ll bring my kit and see what I can do, but I can’t promise anything—
Thank you, Kiki! Goddess bless you!
Miyu said in great relief.
Kiki laughed. You were never the religious sort, Miyu. This girl must be special.
Miyu blushed a little. Just get the fuck over here,
she said irritably.
Kiki laughed. Yeah, all right. See you in ten—
And don’t bring Nise!
Miyu warned.
Kiki laughed again. Fine. Fine. We wouldn’t want your little love muffin to know about your sordid past.
With that, she hung up.
Chapter 2
Ren lowered the hover car smoothly into a haze of pink neon light, into the busy parking lot, setting it down before the nightclub and its constant pulse of music and laughter. As Izumi’s gang was ambushing Katsura’s Teahouse, they had stolen the car and gotten away in the chaos – but not without Chiyo attempting to gun them down with an automatic rifle as Izumi, witch that she was, cackled evilly beside her. Ren knew they shouldn’t have trusted the two, but they’d had little choice. Now Koharu was in the passenger’s seat beside Ren, and Kaida loomed in the back, powerful shoulders sagging wearily. They were all bloody, torn, and smeared with dirt from rolling across floors and dodging gunfire. Koharu’s black hair – which was usually in a neat bob – was mussed and flying, while Kaida’s dark red hair had been pushed back from her face in a spiky mess.
Ren glanced in the side mirror and noticed her own half-shaven head was tousled. She lifted her visor and saw there were lines under her eyes. She thought she looked old and exhausted, and ashamed, she put the visor back down. Like the others, she had spent the night gunning down big women in black suits, and now all she wanted to do was slide into a warm bath. She had a feeling, however, that they were going to enter Pink Rocket and some fuckery would be afoot. There was always fuckery with Miyu, and it was to their great misfortune that Miyu had been the one to rescue Sakura.
Ren realized Kaida must’ve been thinking along the same lines, for the big woman said in a weary voice from the backseat, What do you think Miyu’s done this time?
She hasn’t done anything,
said Koharu darkly, because she knows I’ll beat her ass. Come on.
She pulled the release and her door lifted away.
Ren and Kaida climbed out after Koharu, and the three of them entered the nightclub. They were waved inside by the bouncer, a big
