Introduction
We all have testimonies and stories about traumas we’ve been through or grief we’ve overcome. Several of us are steadily pushing through hard times, trying to figure out this thing called life.
I’m here to relay and relate: It’s hard out here. Two important facets in life to have are a strong mindset adjoined with uplifting people, and when life doesn’t bring you others, always remember that God will never leave your corner.
Hard times will only make you stronger for what’s ahead. Try to remain as positive as possible when going through difficulties because thinking negatively only makes the situation you’re in worse. Dark places can harbor you into low states of minds; especially, if you feed into their relevance. Have you ever been so low that you questioned life and didn’t want to live anymore? That’s an example of how the devil uses negative thoughts to make you believe you’re not enough when you’re more than enough.
God has a major purpose for our lives. We must be patient and believe He won’t let us down. He only wants to build us up for our next step. For us to reach our full potential, we must go through the trials and tribulations of life. If we don’t learn and grow, how will we blossom into what God created us to do? I know it sounds easier said than done. Yet, that’s when your faith gets tested. If you don’t have faith, then you won’t have the strength to look past the hurt you’re suffering through. Everything truly happens for a reason. We have to understand that the reason is either to learn, grow, or better ourselves.
I know we all have been guilty of asking God, Why me?
You have to try to assure yourself that you know He wouldn’t put you through situations you couldn’t handle. Like rainbows shining after storms, when bad things happen to us, just know there’s a greater situation on its way. We’ll then understand that we wouldn’t have gotten it in any other way. It took me a while to realize the phrase, No pain, no gain
was true. Don’t ever give up! Keep holding on! In time, everything will be okay.
Remember, you’re never alone. Several of us are hurting while trying to figure everything out. Until we understand the value there is in others, we’ll never feel completely right. The benefit of counting on other people for support, examples, and confidence is like none other. Sometimes, especially during times of trials and tribulations, you must be vulnerable for life to reveal a way for you to cope.
You become stronger when you realize everything has a meaning behind it. Fight to search for that meaning! Instead of looking at yourself as weak and broken, admire yourself as someone strong and whole. Speak things into existence over your life, even if you’re not in the position of which you speak. Don’t be so hard on yourself when you’re down. At times, we beat ourselves up because we feel that we’ve failed. Please try to be gentle with yourself. Everything operates through you, and if you die inside, everything
