Partnering with the Lord changes everything. The One who created you knows your true identity and destiny. He knit within you many gifts, talents, and abilities that you will need in this lifetime. In order to accomplish the good plans He alone has predestined for each one of us, we must tap into what has been deposited. This book is a testimony of the depth of God's love and healing power and how He, once invited in, changed my life completely. The person I had become was shaped by my life's experiences, whether good, bad, or ugly. Although this book is written from my experience when I asked the Lord to help me with my lifelong physical weight issue, He revealed how just this one thing, interwoven and connected to everything else in my life, has kept me from who He created me to be. As I partnered with Him, he unraveled "the weight of it all," and revealed what needed to be addressed in my life in order for me to come into my God-given identity and destiny. Yours may not be a physical weight issue, but the path to healing is still the same. God created you, and He is the One who deposited those things you would need. He has good plans for your life. Allow Him to reveal your true identity and destiny, when you come out from under "the weight of it all".

Dedication

Lord, I am almost speechless when I consider all You have done in my life to bring me to the place where I finally know who You created me to be, and what You created me to do. The knowledge of which has eluded me my entire life. Thank You for healing all the facets in my life that were so interwoven and connected, they kept me from a freedom that You died in order for me to have.

As I write my testimony, my mind can’t help but go back to Your words in John 10:10:

I have come so that they may have life, and have it to the full. (NIV)

I came to give life with joy and abundance. (The Voice)

I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (The Amplified)

I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of. (The Message)

This abundant life I could live according to Your Word was something that has always kept me unsettled. I can remember sitting in that little country church so many, many years ago, and looking around, asking You, Where is it, Lord? What does it look like? Who is living it? No one I know seems to have this abundant life, and they have been walking with You a lot longer than me. I don’t see it, Lord.

Now, I can honestly say, Thank you, Lord, for removing the many layers of scales from my eyes. Thank you for revealing the magnitude of Your Love and getting me to the place in my life where I can say to you wholeheartedly, ‘Lord, I see it.’ Thank you for this awesome journey and the abundant life that is full and overflowing with joy. It is more than I could have ever dreamed was possible. I dedicate this first book to you, Lord, because without You, there would be no book!

All that I am is because of All That You Are!

To You be all the glory forever and ever.

Introduction

No matter what area of your life needs to be healed, He is able. In my case, there was a physical weight, and attached to that were an emotional and a mental weight. Regardless of whether or not you have an issue with physical weight, all addictions or issues in our lives carry an emotional and mental weight. There isn’t anything He can’t fix. This process
