Poetic Stepping-Stones of Faith

About this ebook
Poetic Stepping-Stones Of Faith is a book of poetry written and created over three decades. It includes a variety of poems such as " The Beauty Of God", "Woman", "The Hands Of A Man" and "Stop This World" to name a few. The poems speak to the human experience and how that experience intersects and connects to Jesus Christ. From the beginning of time, words have been found to be a powerful element; that started with God speaking this universe into existence. Disagreements and more have occurred because of ill spoken words between people.
However, the words of Poetic Stepping-Stones Of Faith are meant for the reader's enjoyment. It is the writer's belief that the poems will aid in connecting people with a thread of humanity that is common to all human beings. We all may have had experiences that bring joy, sadness, loss, etc. The poetry in the book is to help us get a greater glimpse of Jesus Chris and what He offers us as we live this life on earth. These poems reflect the day to day struggling, living, and overcoming to obtain the victory. Christ is ever near, standing by ready to give us that extra courage and energy to take that next leap to the stepping stone. Stepping Stones Of Faith is a book that reflects to us the encouragement of Christ when we feel overwhelmed whether we're a believer or unbeliever. I believe this book will lift the human spirit and impart the love of Jesus Christ through the poems. This book includes poems that relate to our past, expressions of our present, and hints related to our future. May all who read this book gain insights into the precious love that God has for all human beings; and. May people come to know a little more about the goodness of Christ through the reading of Poetic Stepping-Stones Of Faith!

Poetic Stepping-Stones of Faith - Brenda Greene
The Beauty of God
It is God alone who’s the great I am; He is the real God and not a sham…
God is the Father, Creator of all things. He breathed into man, and in man life did spring…
Out of the invisible, straight from the throne, He created man and He did it alone…
It is God alone who painted the skies, with no questions asked and no reasons why…
It is God alone who made roses deep red and fashioned the birds their nest and beds.
When in the beginning God did decree, Let us make man that all might see my handiwork and what I’ve decreed.
So in His own image, God created him male and female created He them…
God is the Father Creator of all; we’re made in His image, in Him we stand tall…
We can’t comprehend Him He’s past finding out, submit and obey, to Him be devout!
Who made the mountains, the land, and the seas and wide and vast oceans, not you and not me.
He’s the Almighty, the great El Shaddai. He alone knows all things by and by you will see, every knee will bow, it’s been heavenly decreed…
Peace like a river, gushing forth in time, bow down before Him. He is the divine!
Where Are You Going to?
Do you know where you’re going to when your earthly life is through? Do you feel reassured that there will be a place in the kingdom for those born anew?
I ask myself this every day and question what I’ve cast away; I wonder if this too is one more masquerade…
I know in my heart I do wish to impart my total soul and being…
But what causes one to get right in their heart and let love gush through like a spring?
The answer is Jesus; He can do this thing.
And to all who desire, yes, salvation He will bring!
My Corner
Where’s my corner of the room? May I go there very soon? The shaky walls desire to fall; these walls are not so dark at all…
In my corner of the room, I dwell there all the day, watching others all day long as they merrily go their way.
Yet I am looking, seeking, thinking, and wondering about finding my own way…
In this corner I cannot move, so I just sit there all day and brood!
Thinking, somewhere
