About this ebook
This book is a minor effort to draw attention back to God's plan for humans before they become totally corrupt again within a secular worldview. One has just to look around at the results and damage done from the majesty of man's efforts throughout history.
There is a rather simple and beautiful worldview that can be pursued. The Christian Holy Bible has the answers. Overtime, many have attempted to live their lives in a humble and loving way, but most humans have chosen otherwise. Again, just look around at the continuing reach for power and domination, heart-wrenching poverty, disease and famine, never-ending conflict and war, and on and on. Where is the good in any of that?
Contrary provides some insight to battle the evil embedded in our cultures and worldviews. It is time to shake things up again. Time to get up, get right, get going, and get happy.

To all humankind
Prologue
People have been raised in cultures that have told us the dos and don’ts of life. People need the nurturing and training—the dos and don’ts—to be capable of functioning within a given culture. People are held responsible for their actions, choices, and decisions. Everyone, in some way, will be affected by the actions, choices, and decisions of others. The results of all those choices, over time, is the world we all live in now.
Look around at the planet we inhabit. The earth has all the necessary things for man to survive; water, trees, plants, air to breath, animals, and land mass to build on. The planet is always changing and pretty much self-sustaining. From space, it is a pretty picture and a breathtaking view. Now come down to the earth’s surface, and what do you see. Well, just look around at all the majesty that man has created. Certainly, there have been many well-intentioned attempts. However, the earth we have inherited and continue to abuse has air filled with choking chemicals, polluted waterways, people always at war with each other, an abundance of apathy, ideas and beliefs that are man-made, unbelievable famine, disease, immorality, and absolute fear. People all over the world lock their doors and bar the windows. Only a small percentage of the earth’s peoples are in control of our destinies. Most people are born, struggle to live, then die. Some planet we have. The earth did not start out this way. Humans have put in their two cents’ worth all throughout history. Well, here we are!
This is not a how-to-anything expose. It is a short, minor effort for an introspective look at the real world we live in, its condition, and its possibilities. The reader will not experience a warm and comfortable feeling or any great enlightenment from the book’s content. Many of the comments suggested here most likely have been iterated throughout human history many times. Whether you agree, disagree, or are somewhere in between is not its purpose; that you have read it and now know its contents satisfy the intent. Being contrary to man’s thinking is the goal. Man is self-serving, and for the most part, suspicious of everything. Many of us are fooled into thinking that we are part of the great experience of life, and thus, remain static to anything indifferent to the status quo.
Contrary is about the choices we make in life. If only one person makes a choice to be contrary to man and dedicate a little of their life to serve mankind, then this work is a resounding success.
Contrary to what you may think, you will make a choice in your life after reading this little book. Good, bad, or indifferent, you will make a choice. Be careful, because that choice you make will affect others in some way, sometimes in your life. My prayer to all is simple; reach out to all mankind in love and serve the people. Well, just thought you might want to know!
As a side note, the use of the word man can be assumed to mean all humanity. The word Bible will be used to acknowledge the Christian Holy Bible
throughout.
The purpose here is not debate but to awaken.
The Past

The Beginning
Before the beginning, there was nothing, and the nothing was filled with everything. Then God spoke the universe, the heavens, and the earth into being. We cannot begin to understand God’s power or His essence. He knows everything; everywhere, anytime, past, present, and future. God made everything just the way he wanted it to be. It is
