For centuries theologians were searching for the truth while scientists were searching for reality. There can only be one truth and one reality.

This book shows that truth and reality are actually the same thing. To enable the author to show this, readers will travel through physics, the sciences of chemistry, geology, palaeontology, biology, cosmology, quantum cosmology, the human genome, biblical archaeology and the Scriptures.

What a wasted life we would live if we were to believe untruthful and unrealistic explanations regarding our beginning and end. Indeed, our total existence is dependent upon what we believe as man was made to last forever.

Introduction

Does it really matter what you believe about your origin and destiny? Yes, it is beyond any doubt more important than anything else in your life! Your total existence is dependent on what you believe, as man was made to last forever.

How you see your origin and destiny have a radical influence on your worldview, the decisions you take, your actions, your lifestyle and eternity. There is nothing more important than to search for the truth, reality and who, what and why you are here. Our origin determines our destiny and tells us how we should treat one another and how to live our lives.

Surely you ask yourself frequently whether there is life after death or whether death is the end of your existence. Man after man and generation after generation have died. All in different ways and at different ages, whether unbelievers or believers. The well-renowned British preacher Charles Spurgeon once said: "The moment we start to live we begin to die. Death is the end of dying, not the end of living." If life after death exists, you know that the way you live will play a role either regarding immortal pain and punishment or immortal joy and happiness. However, if immortality does not exist after death, it will steer our lives in a total different direction. Whatever you believe, will have a direct effect on your character and life. Your belief system becomes your religion. For this reason, you the reader, must be certain about the truth, reality and what to believe.

Evolutionists, also known as naturalists, in contrast to creationists have different philosophies. Every one of you has a philosophy whether you realise it or not. Philosophy is just the essential set of ideas, beliefs and values that you simply live by; it’s your outlook or filter through which you view life. Philosophy is the reason why identical situations can produce completely different responses from different people.

What we believe about our origin and destiny has significant moral complications. Creation morality encourages belief in fixed standards of right and wrong and calls us to serve and protect that which we were given authority over and which authority God assigned to us.

Evolution and atheism, by contrast, set a tone of flaunting one’s responsibilities, exploring and preying on the weak to advance one’s own self-interest.

You either evolved out of dead matter coming from somewhere, or were created by a Creator God. Obviously being neutral or in-between does not exist and results in the rejection of God and His Word, known as the Christian Bible (See Matthew 12:30). All worldviews are based around these two beliefs.

However, the Roman Catholic Church, as one of the most powerful churches, says that God used evolution called theistic evolution to create the cosmos and life. If man is the product of evolution in a universe without purpose, then it is man’s option to live for himself where eventually there will be no truth and thus no God. A society without religion disregards moral values, resulting in violence, dissoluteness and general lawlessness, and has never survived. Evolutionists cannot in any degree explain a paradoxical world of awesome accomplishment that’s at an equivalent time utterly helpless to unravel its problems of mounting and continually escalating evils and within the process, destroying our planet. By accepting the idea of evolution, we are free to think the way we want, also referred to as the New Age Movement which says that it’s okay to believe whatever you think is true and real.

With evolutionary thinking, everything is acceptable and results in no universal standard for morality. If we do not have eternity and live without meaning, death is the end of everything, and such evolutionists and atheists, including more than one hundred worldviews, only believe to have this life without hope for the future. No moral values exist because of no God. Sin does not exist in their minds because nobody’s commandments are disobeyed. Without moral values, there is no need to do well to others and it does not matter to try and make the world a better place to live in except just to be remembered by your children’s children and others.

It is important that we understand the great ideas competing for peoples’ souls known as our minds and hearts. Ideas have consequences and history is not much more than the recording of the rise and fall of these apparent great ideas knows as worldviews that form our values and move us to act. The cultural war is not only about abortion, homosexual rights or the decline of public education. The important war may be a cosmic struggle between the Judeo-Christian worldview and the various secular and spiritual worldviews arraying against it.

The world is split by religious and cultural traditions and by peoples most deeply held beliefs – by worldviews. The clash is between the worldviews of a few major traditional civilisations such as the Western world, the Islamic world, the Confucian East, and the African world which includes tribal occultic practices such as ancestral worship and praying for the dead. However, the foremost significant clash would be within Western civilization itself as it may soon dominate the world. Information technology and social media are rapidly crossing traditional barriers of geography and national boundaries. The autumn of the ideological barrier has opened an outsized area of the planet to Western ideas. Asian, Islamic and African societies find they are unable to insulate themselves from the influx of Western books, movies and television programmes. The most significant clash within Western civilisation is between those who adhere to a Judeo-Christian framework and those who favour postmodernism and multiculturalism. In postmodernism, all viewpoints, all lifestyles, all beliefs and all behaviours are considered equally valid. They confess that nothing is worth living or dying for or even arguing about. Multiculturalism with a rooted belief also in evolution, treats all cultures as morally equivalent. By contrast, Christians regard the Western tradition and heritage as worth defending as it was historically shaped by a biblical worldview.

Then again, those that believe in creation are devolved among hundreds of different church denominations, sects and false doctrines that especially saw the light from 1844 onwards. One of these false church denominations took the biblical books of Daniel and Revelation literally and proclaimed the second coming of Jesus Christ on a specific day during the year 1844. After they waited the whole day to no avail, many new church denominations resulted as a devastating consequence thereof.

Literally hundreds of books have been written about evolution versus creation. However, because either evolution or creation has such a large impact on your total existence and being of whom, what and why you are here, we need to go and look at hard scientific evidence compared to the Scriptures about the origin of the cosmos, life and our destiny. For if our total existence comes without direction, by coincidence out of microscopic amoeba (a single cell organism) developed by chance 4,6 billion years ago, then not even words have meaning because words and thoughts come from the human spirit, which neither animals nor any other material form of life have.

Generation after generation, theologians have said they are searching for the truth. Physicists again said that they were searching for reality. Different worldviews were formed as proposed maps of reality in the search for true reality, and trying to accommodate themselves into it.

Throughout this book you will hopefully find out that the truth and reality are actually the same thing. We will travel through physics, the sciences of chemistry, geology, palaeontology, biology, cosmology, quantum cosmology, the human genome, biblical archaeology and the Scriptures to see that the truth and reality are the same thing. Both the scientific and the Judeo-Christian worldview have so much to offer. From different perspectives they support one another fully in answering the world’s greatest questions and both can co-exist happily within the mind of an intellectually inquisitive person living in the 21st century.

Albert Einstein once said that Religion without science is blind. Science without religion is paralysed. It will be clearly seen throughout this book why I can comfortably say that if there are differences between science and the Scriptures, science has misinterpreted its data. Creationary scientists believe that God gave man instructions to search. Man cannot act differently, as he was created with an enquiring mind. If this was not the case, no technological advancement would have taken place on this planet over the centuries.

The knowledge of man becomes endless due to the masses of information captured by search engines on the internet and as a result of social media. Man not only wants to understand the world we live in but also that which we cannot touch, see, smell, taste and feel through our five senses. Besides the unseen, man also wants to understand the mighty macro cosmos, the minute micro-cosmic world of the quantum, the beginning of life and the mysterious wonder of time and eternity.

From the beginning of the century, physicists successfully accomplished to partially figure out the universe, phenomena and manifestations from the shortest to the longest distances. Through technological advancements astronomers use modern telescopes like the Hubble Space Telescope to study mind-blowing phenomena such as stars, galaxies, supernovas, pulsars, quasars and black holes many light years away from Planet Earth. Astronomers are studying celestial bodies almost at the edges of the universe so that they can reconstruct the big bang or creation moment as the background radiation caused by the creation moment is still clearly detectable at the edges of our rapidly expanding universe.

Being equipped with five senses, man explores the universe around him and calls the adventure science. Isaac Newton set the foundation and Albert Einstein, long after Newton with his "Theory of Relativity" which later became the Law of Relativity, explained the mighty cosmos known as scientific universal laws of nature and its forces.

In contrast to the mighty or macro cosmos as explained by Newton and later more in depth by Einstein, on the other end of the scale, particle physicists study the basic building blocks of the cosmos which are so small that an atom appears ginormous next to it. That is the micro-cosmic world of the quantum, quantum physics, quantum mechanics and quantum cosmology. In the last years of Einstein’s life he spent much time trying to merge the Quantum theory unsuccessfully with his Law of Relativity, to the day of his death. Many years after Einstein, modern quantum mechanics still do not fully understand the minute world of the quantum, its actions and definitions.

The greatest scientific minds in the world know where Einstein’s century-long proven Law of Relativity regarding the mighty cosmos, meets the minute world of quantum physics where we will know exactly what happened during the creation moment and how it determined the nature of everything, us and the future. Could it be that the fingerprints of God are seen behind literally every door that science opens so that man can believe (Romans 1: 19-20)?

The natural world, as said before, is ruled by laws. If someone like God exists outside of nature, then there is no logical reason that Force could not stage invasions like on us humans. However, to avoid the world descending into chaos, miracles of nature must be very uncommon. God does not shake miracles into nature at random. They appear on special occasions. They are found for spiritual reasons and the fulfilment of biblical prophecies, as biblical history has proven.

The only way in which we could expect God to show Himself would be inside ourselves as an influence or a command trying to get us to behave in a certain way. And that is exactly what we find inside ourselves!

What is the sensation of longing for something greater than us? Is this nothing more than some combination of neurotransmitters landing on precisely the right receptors, setting off an electrical discharge deep in some part of the human brain? Or is this like the Moral law described in the Scriptures (Romans 2:14-15) of what lies deep within the human spirit, pointing towards something much greater than ourselves?

A few world renowned atheists say that such longing for a belief in God represents nothing more than dreaming, inventing an answer because we want it to be true. Sigmund Freud argued that wishes for God stemmed from early childhood experiences. However, why would such a universal hunger exist, if it was not connected to some opportunity for fulfilment?

No creature is born with desires unless satisfaction for these desires exists. A baby feels hunger, and there is such a thing as food. A duckling wants to swim and there is such a thing as water. Men and women feel sexual desire and there is such a thing as sex. We do not have a desire and longing for God in our hearts and minds unless it is meant to be fulfilled.

Well, may the truth be known. A little dry in parts, but matter of fact. Some parts exciting! I like knowing satan fell by pride. Also, research references and expand self knowledge. Try to live in love and gratitude no matter what!
