    About the Author

    Introduction

I’m always amazed by God. In His infamous wisdom, He knows when it is necessary to get our attention. On a snowy New York day, I was home with nothing to do but to troll Facebook looking for old friends. I was able to find a friend that I had known while living in North Carolina. My sister–friend Selena and I reconnected instantly talking about the many prayer meetings we had at my house over a decade ago.

We talked extensively concerning my ministry calling. I shared about the opportunities that have been afforded to me focusing on empowering women at their lowest points of life experiences. She ministered to me that there was more to be said. The awakening of her words drowned out all the voices of self-doubt. She pointedly guided me with a plan that could help me to launch another season of ministry in my life. As the discussion continued, it was clear that I needed to chronicle a devotion. Since Facebook had become the new social media craze, we both agreed I should begin there. Rev. Margaret Moments was given life. These devotional moments were provided to inspire women on their journey to wholeness.

In this simple devotion, it is my hope that many find a way to discover release, renewal, and restoration. Mind, Body, and Spirit: A Moment with God is a resource that can be utilized over the course of your life experiences. We all have moments in our lives when problems and/or situations seemingly fast track us to places that entangle, suffocate, or cause us deep casualties within. This is a go-to resource of inspiration and affirmation that can strengthen the reader in what is needed. Allow the reading to captivate your mind and strengthen your spirit. God bless!

    Changing Your Thoughts!

The first order for wholeness is to improve and strengthen our existence and is to change our way of thinking, simply put, changing our thoughts. For most, thoughts are the driving force behind how opinions are shaped, physical well-being is established, and spiritual prowess gains momentum. Your thoughts are captured by what is perceived, thus analyzed as reality. The truth of the matter is that without clarity and discernment, our thinking is skewed. We must be about the business of regulating our mind and our thoughts through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. So let us begin at gaining healthy thoughts so that we can move toward a whole existence.
