God's Eternal Truth is a tapestry of food for thought, poems, and prayers that touch the fabric of our spirituality and faith. Each selection separately attempts to reach a clearer understanding of our relationship with God and one another. Collectively they are woven into an expressive quilt of warm spiritual uplift. Too often, we unnecessarily complicate our divine connection with a shroud of pomp and circumstance. We see only what we want in a kaleidoscope of alternative colorful images that misrepresent the true reality of our life experience. This book is not a personal journal but one individual's illuminating lightbulb moments. It sheds light on issues and concerns we all share in our life journey. The divine threads of love, faith, and hope presented at birth are like a ball of yarn. This book is a compilation of these elements knitted together to form a constantly expanding garment of truthful awareness. It is by sharing the basic life lessons learned that we begin to wear a suit of truthful understanding. This collection of spiritual reflections are my food for thoughts, poems, and prayers resulting from my ongoing travels along the soul-stirring river of truth. They consist of my internal visions inspired by the Holy Spirit. We all have pieces of the collective puzzle of divine truth. When we share and compare them with one another in fellowship, we come a little closer to understanding the big picture of God's eternal truth. With eyes wide-open, we see glimpses of the truth that God has for us, spirit divine!

Prayer of Supplication

Heavenly Father, this is the day that you have righteously made. We shall humbly rejoice and be glad in it as we come to you in prayer and supplication. May your divine love continuously guide us safely through our daily trials and tribulations. We are spiritually made stronger as we grow in faithful obedience to your compassionate will. Our daily walk with Jesus uplifts us in blessed service to you and one another.

Please help us not to be troubled or dismayed by all the world problems. For we are your children, saved by grace and comforted by your mercy. May your divine light shine through us, leading those lost in sin to your amazing grace. We ask this in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen!

Touched by God’s Light

We travel relentlessly along life’s winding trail. Each anticipated step mysteriously unfolds a continuous tale.

Anxiously, we feel our way to a distant spiritual destination often not clearly in sight. As faithful travelers along the way, our blessings fulfilled when touched by God’s light.

This warm glow is like a beacon in the dark. Our journey companion as our progress we mark.

It often manifests itself in the love of family, a significant other, church, a stranger we’ve met. Sometimes it lies deeply in life’s shimmering net.

Still darkness can find us suddenly sometimes when we get in our own way. Yet God’s forgiving nature shines on us like a solar ray.

Lessons learned are the stepping stones that keep our hopes bright. Souls traveling safely on that spiritual ark of salvation; we are touched by God’s light.

Prayer of Divine Illumination

Father God, please help us to walk daily in your glorious light. Let our faith not just righteously illuminate our way when times are dark. Let the power of the Holy Ghost always shine brightly in our uplifted hearts.

Heavenly Father, please continue to spiritually guide us with your divine glow of love. It is the beacon from your towering lighthouse of hope and salvation that safely guides us through life’s stormy waters. Let us walk in Your light; beautiful light come where the dewdrops of mercy shine bright. Oh, shine all around us by day and by night; Jesus is the light of the
