A Kid's Guide to Life Choices
()
About this ebook
With all things being equal (love, supervision, opportunities, or a lack of these things), kids grow up to be adults. There is no changing that phenomenon. Let us--as parents, guardians, or just people who care--equip them with some information that will cause them to think about their choices and the consequences, especially ones that may have a financial impact on their lives, which is just about everything. Even more important is teaching our kids to think about how to access a situation or think about a problem and make informed decisions using good information. It's the least we can do for kids at an early age so they aren't totally surprised as adults and end up on the "vicious cycle" wheel of bad decisions and endless debt.

Dear young person,
I hope that all is right in the world with you. You do not know me, but I have been where you are, and I would like to take this opportunity to explain a few facts to you about life and the crucial role you will play in making your life the very best you can make it. Remember the following three phrases:
Have a plan.
Take responsibility.
Think before you act.
Although these three phrases will not guarantee you will never make a mistake, they are a pretty decent guide for marching through life and helping you to make informed decisions along the way.
Shall we get started?
