About this ebook

A Christian's Life is about living a life that is pleasing to God. God is a God of love and a God of wrath. God is love, meaning He loves us all. God is a spirit that doesn't care about anyone's race, color, or creed. In this book, God revealed a lot that is not known, even to a Christian. To be a true Christian, it takes faith, sacrifice, dedication, consistency, and, most of all, a love for God to be sold out totally to Him and to be willing to sacrifice your life as Jesus, God's Son, did for us. This book explains what is needed to build a relationship with God, which really only scratches the surface of what God wants and expects of us as true Christians. A Christian's Life is a way of life, not a job. Even though God gives us blessings daily, He also chastises us. That is when you see a glimpse of His wrath, which is also revealed in this book. God is not to be taken for granted and not to be mocked. Because He is love, as true Christians, we should have the fear of God and not to want to feel His full wrath. Enjoy A Christian's Life, as it is what God wants us to live.

    Introduction

As a confessing Christian, do I really know what it takes to be a Christian? I am writing this book because I feel led of God. As a Christian, anything I do has to start by being led of God. Not to do things because of my will—it has to be God’s will, or it will not work. Without God in my life, I will not have started or finished a Christian’s life. A Christian’s life is not easy; it was not easy for God to send His only Son to die for me. So it takes sacrifice, faith, consistency, and a willing soul to be sold out for God and to do what is necessary to stand for God—even with your life being in harm’s way or even dying for God. The topics that God has put on my heart are

I pray and believe that this book will help new babies in Christ and the ones that have a mind to want to be saved. These topics will help establish lines of communication with God. God gave me the words of this book, and I give Him all the glory. Please pray to God before reading my book so that He gives you an open mind. To receive these topics and the Word in your heart, ask God to give you wisdom, understanding, and discernment. By seeking Him first, God will give you the desires of your heart if it’s His will. That’s God’s will being done for your life.

    Chapter 1

    A Christian’s Life

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want: that is the beginning of Psalm 23. As a Christian, do you really feel that all the time—when you are going through your tests and trials and your bills are due and your mortgage is due and you are on the verge of losing your job? Do you really feel that the Lord is with you, that God is going to deliver you through your hard times? At that time, as a Christian, you should put this prayer to the test; being a Christian, this prayer should be a daily routine, but is it? I am a Christian. I have made bad decisions. I had started blaming God for my decisions that I thought were right but ended up being wrong.¹

As a Christian, sometimes we think we hear God; but a lot of the times, it’s what we want because it is what is going to make us happy as Christians and feel better, but it ends up being the wrong choice. Like the scripture says, it’s better to marry than to burn. I got married because I thought they were the right ones. I did not want to burn, not waiting on God and seeking Him. Not seeking God first resulted in failed marriages. I was burned. I was hurt, used, and run over. I tried to blame God, but
