About this ebook
Have you ever wondered if there was a possibility to know what the residue of your choices would look like before you made them? If given this opportunity, would it make you change your choice, or would you hold fast to your conviction?
Life is a journey filled with many choices. Some are correct turns that will take you to your desired destination the quickest. Some are detours that seem to prolong you from reaching your destiny while some lead to dead ends with seemingly no way to make a U-turn. You have been given the free will to choose. Even the free will to not choose is still a privilege that is afforded to you.
Through this book, you will embark on a journey that will move you from destination to destination through your choices. The question is not if embarking on this journey will help you in this journey of life, but rather can you afford not to embark on this journey?

Jesus Must Be Lord
To my children, Kaileigh Hawkins and Samuel Hawkins III, more specifically to my daughter, Kaileigh, because it was the birth of my daughter that was the confirmation that God wanted me to write this book.
Preface
This book is a book that I never in my wildest dreams ever would have imagined that I would have written. However, God has done some crazy things in my life, and this is at the top of the list. God came to me in my dreams as He typically does and told me that I was to write a book and what the title should be. I was very perplexed as I hated writing with a passion growing up. It was not that I couldn’t write, but it was hard for me to sit that long and put pen to paper before getting bored and eventually stopping altogether. Thus, I said to God, You are going to have to make this crystal clear to me that you truly want me to do this.
God, being so awesome and intelligent far more than I would ever be, came to me the next night in another dream and said, You will have a daughter.
And He let me see her before she came and told me, She would have a voice from heaven. Nurture it.
Well, she was born, and she definitely has a voice from heaven, and because of that, I wrote this book. Therefore, to my lovely children whom I adore so much, I dedicate this book in honor of you. I pray that you, along with others, will read this book and use it as a tool to listen to God and what He says to you about the many different choices you will have in life. I can truly say that God has yet to fail me once when I turned to Him about whatever choice I was facing in life, and thus, friends, I say the same thing to you. Whatever choice you are facing, turn it over to God and allow Him to make the decision for you, and I promise that He will not fail you. I pray that as you read this book you will see just how real that truly is.
What Effect Do They Really Have?
Our life is filled with choices from the day we leave our mother’s womb all the way until the day when we leave this earth. We are faced with choices from childhood to adulthood. As a child, we are faced with whether to obey or not to obey our parents all the way to obeying those in authority as an adult. There are many choices such as these that we make every day without hesitation. They are a part of our natural instincts and routine. But have you ever taken the time to think about how the many different choices that you make daily affect the other people in your life either directly or indirectly?
Growing up, I never thought that my choices affected anyone but me. I thought that my choices were my choices and my choices alone. No one cares or should care or was ever affected by them. What a way to live yet so wrong! Many times, that is the mentality that most of us take before we ever consider anyone else in our isolated process. We tend to blame society or our environment for this form of thinking or any other excuse we can make up instead of just admitting that we are truly that selfish. To look beyond our immediate view would just be too much work to do. But is there really a legitimate excuse as to why we never truly consider others before we decide?
I have searched and searched and tried to find every loophole there is to justify this mentality before I had to conclude that this mentality of my decisions affect me only
was tremendously incorrect. Every decision we make affects others around us either directly or indirectly, even if we do not see the ramifications of our choices right away. It can be whether the decision is something we would consider small
