Introduction
While the three unholy trinity guys were working out on the muscle builder 5000, Satan was deep underground, sitting in his burgundy steel chair and looking intense. He was pondering how he could make it impossible for God to become victorious over him this time around, so he can possess the new target that had been chosen. He was also wondering what he could do to make the three unholy trinity guys even more difficult to defeat. Satan needed to revisit his plan to have his trio capture and contain this new target. He wanted to enter heaven as this new chosen person to locate and take the Lord’s gem. To make things worse, Satan’s target is someone who will make Craig regret ever denying him. Someone who Craig cares for very deeply—his mother, Tiffany Alskir.
Chapter 1
Water Fight
Caroline began spraying me with a dark red liquid, soaking me and the chair I was sitting in. I yelled, What in the world? Stop!
She screamed with excitement, Happy two-year ’versary!
What? What is this stuff?
Kool-Aid.
She replied, shrugging her shoulders as if it was no big deal.
You know this stuff stains?
Yeah, I know. So?
I raised my voice and asked, "Then, why’d you use Kool-Aid, Car?
Chill out, we’re in heaven, remember? All we have to do is just imagine another.
I grinned at her, Oh yeah, I forgot.
I looked at the clock on the table next to the chair and saw that it wasn’t working because Caroline didn’t only spray me with the Kool-Aid, she had also sprayed the table, soaking the clock.
Well, you messed up the table and the clock.
She sighed very deeply and reminded me, Again, we can just imagine another one.
Then she instructed, Come here, hold my hands, and let’s check and see what Craig and Kate are doing since they started their relationship two years ago today too.
Then she giggled, After you go, take a shower.
I started to smile and replied, Why should I?
I sprung from the chair, ran up to Caroline, took my shirt off, and rubbed it all over her. She pushed me away, laughing. Now my clothes aren’t the only ones that are ruined, are they?
She said while chuckling, Nope. But I’m not worried.
Then she continued, So how do we do it?
Well, I’ll tell you what Tim told me to do.
Wait, this is your first time doing this?
Yeah, it sure is.
Caroline replied coincidentally, Mine too!
I know. I died before you did. Remember, silly?
Oh yeah, that’s right.
I held both of my hands out in front of me. She grabbed them, and we both closed our eyes and started thinking about Craig and Kate. It was weird at first because my view was through another’s eyes. I assumed it to be Craig’s.
This is like a video game.
Caroline commented, I know.
This is so cool.
I know,
she repeated.
I could see that Kate wasn’t in the room with Craig, so I asked, Car, where’s Kate?
In the bathroom.
Doing?
Doing something.
Even though my eyes were closed, I could sense she was smiling. All of a sudden, while Craig was watching TV, Kate had snuck up behind him, and he was being sprayed with a water gun.
Why?
Craig shouted and jumped up.
Because we’re going to the movies at two. And you, sir, need to get up and get ready.
Craig informed her, It’s only ten in the morning.
That gives us time to fix something to eat.
Or we could go somewhere nice.
She suggested, Yes! Red Lobster.
All right. That sounds perfect.
Let me go get ready. You
—she pointed at Craig—go get ready too!
I let go of Caroline’s hands, and the connection was lost.
Caroline questioned, Why’d you let go?
I answered, Two reasons: one, I don’t want to watch Craig eat or whatever he’s going to do next. Two, it’s our anniversary too, so I thought we could eat something and check on them in a hour or so.
Aw.
What?
It’s sweet how you still remembered that it was our anniversary too.
She stood on her tippy-toes and leaned in to kiss me on the cheek. I closed my eyes and imagined spaghetti for me and chicken fettuccine for Caroline.
She said amazed, Italian food, so romantic! You do know the way to my heart.
The table was set with our plates, silverware, and candles. The only thing missing were our drinks.
Anything for you, baby. I’m going to grab a Mountain Dew from the fridge. Do you want something?
Can you grab me one too?
Sure can. Be right back.
My cell phone started going off, and I answered it because it was Tim.
What’s up, bro?
God needs either you or Caroline or both of y’all to come to his castle.
Okay.
I told Caroline, God needs one of us to go to his castle.
She sighed really heavily and said, All right, I’m still getting ready right now, so can you go?
Yeah, no problem. Hopefully it won’t take long, and I’ll be right back.
I put on a nice shirt and jeans. When I stepped outside, I thought, I want to get over to God’s castle quickly, but I’ m going to do it with style. I can’t make a jet because I don’t know how to fly it. I would get there faster probably by air though. I imagined a black magic carpet with blue flames on it, and it appeared in front of me. I yelled, Awesome!
As I was flying to God’s castle, I thought to myself, Why would God need to see me? Am I in trouble? I sure hope not.
When I arrived at the Lord’s castle, I did as I’ve seen in movies and landed.
As I was landing, Tim ran out from
