    The Pentateuch

Created and inspired by God through His gift of poetry

The Pentateuch is the beginning and the ending of a time when God was on Earth. It is the title of the first five books of the Old Testament and represents the gateway of the entire Bible.

Moses would become mediator and conveyor of the divine system. He was one of the greatest and most humble man of all time. Moses would be the only human to speak to God face to face and Israel’s nation serves as witness into this era.

Throughout the Pentateuch the ways of God speak vividly through sacrifices and direct utterances. Commands of God serve to reveal the full nature and the will of God. It has been said by Bible scholars, when God created man and woman, it was through this creation He offered His fullest self-revelation.

The Pentateuch is the passageway to Prophets, Kings and exemplifies temples and fortresses. It is the crossroads where beauty and sin, faith and conflict first meet.

According to Bible scholars, Genesis is the most important book of the whole Bible. It has been described as the root out of which the tree of God’ s revelation has grown and is the seed- pod of the whole Bible. Genesis is essential to the true under-standing of its every part and it is written to reveal to man that he was divinely created; falls to suffer and redemption would be provided.

The manifestation of God’s sovereignty is described by outpouring evidence of His divine presence. This is revealed when God assisted Moses through wilderness journeys.

The laws of God are intended to contrast sin to God’s holiness, to encourage man towards God’s divine mercy. The heart and promises of God have never changed and will prevail.

If man learns the justice of God he will understand what is justice for man.

The modern world, how far have we come?

Two million years ago brought settlers to Israel and the adjoining territories. The rising of 3 faiths, Christian, Jews and Muslim would be connected by history, though in conflict they would have a shared reverence. In the wake of modern worlds, the stoking of Israeli hostility continues today, sharing the landscape and sharing the turmoil.

    To God Be the Glory

    Genesis

    The 1st Book

Genesis is the first book of the Pentateuch that was written by Moses, the servant of God. This is the book of the beginnings when God created the world, mankind and all things of the living. Moses reports how sin enters the world and God continues to love mankind regardless of sin. Moses records incredible stories of Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph. He creates the image of God who cares deeply and seeks personal relationships that you will choose to follow and make God your life’s daily priority.

    Genesis

    Chapter 1

    Vs. 5

    Vs. 11-17

    Vs. 6

It could be Moses, they would say

The book of Genesis, he did portray

In the beginning, His mighty plan

It is good, God would say

Heaven to earth, and woman of man

With Adam and Eve, He would begin

The fall of man, they ’re bound to sin

From Adam to Joseph, set the pace

    So crafty this
