Mind Thy Attitude

Just a reminder, our attitude is 90 percent of our success or failure. Do not let arrogance and ignorance steal your joy. Sometimes, people go out of their way to bring you out of character. Remember to find your happy place, count to ten, etc. Whatever you have to do to keep a good attitude is imperative. Your attitude is one of the main ingredients in keeping you beautiful on the inside.

Build Your Vocabulary

Just a reminder to the ladies reading is fundamental. Fun-to-da-mental! For those who find it hard to read because nothing seems to hold your attention, think of your favorite genres of movies and try to find similar books. Remember, the more you read, the more you are building your vocabulary. You do not want to sound repetitive in your speech, nor do you want to sound ignorant. Playing trivia games, crossword puzzles, and board games like scrabble will help keep your mind sharp. Magazines are very important in the beauty department to stay abreast of the latest fashion. Nothing is sexier than a woman who can articulate her speech.

Be Decisive

A wise person once said, You think long, you think wrong. It is good to weigh your options. It is wise to think things through. As long as you make a decision on the pressing issues in a timely manner, everything will work out just fine. If you do not make decisions for yourself, you will unconsciously let other people make decisions for you. Remember to always follow your mind first and never second-guess yourself.

Thou Shall Not Have Potty Mouth

Ladies, it is unattractive to use excessive foul language and or curse words, even in a heated discussion. Learning to pick and choose your battles as well as knowing how to choose your words wisely are major keys in the beauty department. Just a reminder: sometimes the best response is no response at all. Beware of the people looking for a negative response out of you. Remember, people tend to associate others who use an excessive amount of foul language to be ignorant, which may not be true. Learn to articulate your speech.

Don’t Start Something and Not Finish

Just a reminder, to set realistic goals for yourself, keep your goals right in front of you, and you will have a better chance at completing them. It is a bad habit and negative trait to have to start something and not finish. Sometimes, we have a change of heart about what we truly want out of life, and sometimes, we get sidetracked. It is okay to change your mind. When things get rough, remember to take a deep breath and not a step back.

All right, ladies, both hands on the wheel, eyes straight, shoulders back, hands at ten and two. Just a reminder: there’s nothing sexier to a mate than a woman who had found some business and tending to it. Make sure to DO YOU, and remember, you can do bad by yourself. Learn how to be in solitude; men do not like a busy body. For a woman who is comfortable in her own skin and can still blend in as well as stand out is a beautiful thing.

Don’t be a part of the problem; be a part of the solution.

Thou shall not go tit for tat. It is petty and childish.

Thou shall not witness wrongdoings to others and not stand up for justice.

Thou shall not be a shit starter.

Thou shall listen to understand not to respond.

Thou shall never make decisions when emotions are high.

Thou shall accept thy neighbor as they are.

Thou shall offer help when needed.

Thou shall not spread rumors or gossip.

Beauty and Brains

A wise man once said, Trust nobody’s information but your own. Just a reminder: do not rely on secondhand information without verifying it for yourself. Always have the willingness to learn. We should always have the mindset to learn something new every day. It is imperative to keep your mind sharp even after grade school; even after you get your degrees. Maybe you didn’t finish school, or you didn’t go to college, don’t let that stop you from learning something new every day. Remember, the more you know, the farther you will go.
