God Made the First Family

About this ebook
Is it not amazing, though expected, that God was the first at everything good? The account of creation remains thrilling to many, but of very high significance is the first family, their marriage, their children, and how they related to one another, including their sins. Also significant is the way God dealt with it and how it applies to us today. God did not only create the first family but also some great events that we still identify with today: The first surgery, the first anesthesia given, the first garments made from animal skin, He was the first designer, making a covering for the first man and woman. The first rain that ever fell, what led to it, and the comfort and reassurance of God after it all happened. Also, the first beauty contest; how the beauty queen was chosen; and the price of obedience, humility, and faith she had to pay. God Made the First Family is simply Bible stories presented alive to all children and children at heart.

In the Beginning
The beginning of life and time started with God Himself. He was the only one there before the creation of heaven and earth. The entire work of creation was done by Him. John 1:3 declares that long after creation all things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made.
To create is to bring into being or existence what has never been there, to make something new. All was empty and without shape with darkness over the ocean. The spirit of God was all over the waters.
God began to speak, and things began to appear according to the word He spoke. Isn’t that amazing?
On the first day, God said, Let there be light.
And there was light.
On the second day, He said, Let there be a huge space between the waters.
And it was so. This huge space is what we call the sky.
On the third day, God created the land by commanding all the waters under the sky to gather to one side. The dry portion was called land, and the water area was called the ocean. He commanded the land to produce plants and every kind of tree.
On the fourth day, God commanded lights to be in the huge space of the sky to separate night and day—the sun, which is the greater light, to rule the day, and the moon and stars to rule the night.
The fifth day, He created every kind of birds that fly in the sky and all the creatures in the ocean and God blessed them.
The sixth day was the most amazing! God created all kinds of living creatures on land: farm animals, wild animals, and pets. Best of all God
