About this ebook

As stated by Benjamin Franklin on June 28, 1787, to the Constitutional Convention, "I have lived, Sir, a long time and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth-that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings . . ." Have you ever wondered how this manifesting thing works? If you watch the spiritual channels on the television, you know the ones buried after the end of the lineup, manifesting health, wealth, and prosperity sounds so simple. All you need to do is ask for it, believe you can get it, and you will have it. Right, do you know anyone who has received any of the gifts that the spiritual channels are talking about? Do you know anyone who has been healed or is no longer in debt by manifesting health or prosperity? If it is that simple, why can I not receive it? Why is it that no one I know has received? I have wants and needs, so what is the problem? What if I tell you you can receive and, more important, God Himself wants you to have these gifts. They are yours. They are waiting on you to accept them. Now the real question is; are you interested?

Manifesting the Good Life by Jesus Christ - Robert Albertsen

    Introduction

Have you ever wondered how this manifesting thing works? If you watch the spiritual channels on the television, you know, the ones buried after all of the good channels, manifesting health, wealth, and prosperity sounds so simple. All you need to do is ask for it, believe you can get it, and you will have it.

Right, do you know anyone who has received any of the gifts that the spiritual channels are talking about? Do you know anyone who has been healed or that is no longer in debt by manifesting health or prosperity? If it is that simple, why can I not receive it? Why is it that no one I know has received? I have wants and needs, so what is the problem? What if I tell you you can receive and, more important, God Himself wants you to have these gifts. They are yours. They are waiting on you to accept them. Now the real question is; are you interested?

Before we examine the philosophy of manifesting the gifts of Grace as laid out in the Holy Bible, we must ask the question: why would God want to give us these gifts? The answer is actually quite simple. It is His Divine Love for mankind. His complete and overwhelming love for all of us is all that one can say on this subject. The Gospel of Grace was foretold by the prophets of the Old Testament and brought in by the death of Jesus Christ on the day of the cross. Through His Grace given to us allows for these gifts.

Let us now begin by examining what is available and why these gifts are ours. Then we will lay out the belief and the procedure for receiving the gifts of Grace that He has made available to you. All of the information that one needs to access these gifts of Grace are in the Holy Bible. They are hiding in plain sight waiting for the believer to accept and receive. They are paid for and they are yours. All you have to do is accept and be in gratitude for them.

As with the building of anything, one must construct a foundation before one can move forward with the project. This is our plan and foundation for the concept of manifesting:

Traditional Religion—The first thing is to examine traditional religion and why, if this is a biblical teaching, have we not heard of it from our religious centers? What does the church not want us to know and understand? Understanding their point of view and justifying that they could be an issue in the manifesting concept will help us move through this mine field.

The Holy Bible—If these teachings are centered in the Holy Bible, one must understand how to interpret the scriptures. Is the Holy Bible a collection of stories or is it the universal guide to life itself? If you believe that it is a wonderful collection of stories and that is all, then how can you believe that a concept like manifesting can exist? If this is your concept, then put the book down and find something else to read. If you do believe that every scripture in the Holy Bible is God’s word and that it is true and meaningful, then you have the ability to accept and manifest all of your wants, needs and desires in this life. Understanding how to read the Holy Bible is a major key to understanding manifesting.

Covenants—To answer the question, why is manifesting allowed by God, one must understand how God works and the Divine principle of His covenants or promises. At the beginning, starting with Abraham, God has made covenants with the nation of Israel. With the sacrifice of Jesus, the New Covenant was extended to all of the Gentiles (people who are not of Jewish descent). The New Covenant contains His Gospel of Grace and explains what He wants for all of His people of the world. By understanding this principle, one can understand that the Gospel of Grace is available to all of us.

The Gospel of Grace—What are you going to manifest and why can you do it? For you to be able to manifest, you must know what God has made available to you and where it is. This is found in the understanding and definition of the Gospel of Grace. Through His Grace all of the spiritual gifts are available and, more important, He wants you to have them to better your earthly life as well as to have the resources to help others. These gifts are yours through the blood of Jesus on the day of the Cross and they have been paid for.

Manifesting the Promise—Now, we are down to the mechanics of actually starting the manifesting procedure. Yes, you can receive, but there is a procedure to move forward. There are steps that are outlined in the Holy Bible to be able to manifest. How do you receive if you do not ask? What does it take to actually receive the spiritual gift? Now that I have received, what is the next step, if any? Is there any obligation for receiving? Once you move through this area and have received, you are ready to move forward and do it again. God’s treasure is bountiful and never ending.

Blocking the Manifesting—There are areas where manifesting will not occur and these areas must be dealt with prior to any manifesting. Unbelief and not forgiving are two major areas that will sideline manifesting. Unbelief creeps in through many outlets, some centered in old traditional religious teachings and some just through insecurities. Not to truly forgive someone will harden one’s heart and will stop many of the points of God’s Grace and Love. One of the techniques to stop the unbelief is to meditate in the word of God. The word of God deals with many of the issues that we face in today’s world. By reading, understanding, and accepting God’s promise on these issues, we see that He will overcome for us all of these problems and we will be victorious. At the back of the book, there are excerpts from the scripture on many of the common problems and afflictions to be meditated upon.

Testimonials—There are a group of life experiences that have been included also in the back of the book utilizing these ideas and techniques to improve one’s life. In this section, it explains the conditions before manifesting and the way that God improved these people’s lives through manifesting from the Gospel of Grace. The only ones listed are the ones that occurred during the writing of this book and the lessons learned from this book. One of the testimonials is still ongoing and will not be completed before the second edition is printed.

With this logical approach, one will be able to bring the Good Life that was promised and given by Jesus Christ to one’s own life. Be a witness for Him in all things and bring Glory to His name. Have the glorious and righteous life that He wants for you!

    Traditional Religion

This study is not intended to contradict the teachings of traditional religion no matter which denomination of the Christian faith one may belong to. It is not to say that the Roman Catholic Church has the right answer and the Southern Baptist Church does not. At the beginning, there was only one Christian Church and it was the believers that followed Jesus. The eleven surviving apostles and all of the disciples, Jewish Christian believers, Gentile Christian believers, and converted pagan Christian believers were the first members of the Church of Jesus’s time.

Let us start by examining the concept of a formal traditional religion of today. In many cases, formal religion with its traditional teachings will be in opposition of the concept of manifesting. Let us first define the word religion, which comes from the ancient Latin root word religio, which directly translated means re, to do again or repeat, and ligare, to bind or to hold. Putting this together, religion means to bind and hold again or, simply stated, to continue to control.

Let us first examine manmade formal religion. Do you really believe that Jesus came into the world to teach, to love, to eventually be tortured, and finally to die on a cross to start 254 different denominations of faith to worship Him, all competing for a market share of the believers? The Holy Bible does not talk about different denominations of faith, only that you are to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Redeemer. Jesus, through His word, spoke of love and developing a personal relationship with God, stating that a person must worship in truth and spirit. Jesus further speaks of worshiping God the Father directly without the interference of a church.

Man is the one who talks about how their followers of each denomination are to accomplish building a personal relationship with Him and how to worship Him. In certain cases, the denomination itself teaches against developing a personal relationship and directs all interactions with Him through the church. Man has made rules and regulations (dogma) for each of these 254 churches to follow. If God wanted these rules and regulations, He would not have completed the old covenant and started the new covenant based on love.

Religion is a manmade institution to control the believer’s faith, and anytime you are controlled, someone has power over you. It appears that religion is more about power over the believers—and through this control, their money—more than it is being about God and doing His Will.

    There are religions that require:

Requiring that the male foreskin of a male baby be eaten by the parents after the child was circumcised,

Requiring that certain foods be eaten on certain days of the week,

Prohibiting certain medical treatment options for their members such as blood transfusions,

Prohibiting members from dancing or singing,

    Prohibiting women from driving,

Prohibiting anyone to operate a mechanical machine,

Prohibiting women to speak in public,

Prohibiting women in public unless they are escorted by a family member,

    And the list goes on.

This is only a small sample of various dogmas (rules and regulations) from different religions which address their control over the lives of their patrons of the faith. Rules and regulations that God does not care about or even want, because they interfere with the personal relationship that He wants with His children. Which leads to the question, who came up with these ideas and does anyone believe that God wants this?

God the Father (Protestant Christian), Allah (Muslims), Holy Father (Catholic Christian), and Yahweh (Jewish God) are all names of the same Divine Being. The living God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the same Divine Entity for all of the major religions. All of the major religions have the same core message: God is love and man is to honor, worship, and obey His Divine Will.

So is the question, are there different religions claiming to be the way, or is it that no religion is the right way and man himself needs to develop a personal relationship with God? Would any of these religions want their members to be able to manifest the gifts of Grace directly or would they want to control this action? Knowing the nature of man, even clerical man, the answer is that they want to be involved. As with anything, control revolves around power and power translates into money and it seems that this is also the case here. Just look at the wealth of some of the manmade religions throughout the world.

As we move forward, one must be on guard against the traditional religious teachings that will be in conflict with the concept of manifesting the gifts of Grace. Disregard your traditional church dogma and rely on the Holy Bible with the teachings of Jesus Christ. Remember, the Holy Bible is the word of God and is the only real and true source of wisdom and knowledge.

    The Holy Bible—Literally or Metaphorically

This now leads us the question, should the Holy Bible be taken literally? As
