Introduction

This devotional was birthed in the Spirit of God after being asked to speak at a women’s retreat in May of 2016. While seeking the Lord, the Holy Spirit began to whisper in my ear and say, After you speak, the book you are to write will be birthed. As I was preparing for the retreat, all that I had were scripture verses and nothing else. I had an idea of what I might share but was unable to write any of it down. So I had no idea what I was going to say and thought to myself, how in the world would I ever write a book. As I prepared, I felt impressed by the Lord to write down scripture and to personalize it from His heart to the women that would be attending the retreat. I was to read it to these women and let it wash over them and trust the Holy Spirit to do His eternal work. After the scripture was read, three women approached me and said, "We need a copy of what you just read, you need to write a devotional. Little did they know that what they were saying was a confirmation of what the Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart. This devotional has been birthed from God’s desire to lavish His love upon all who will receive the love that He Himself wants to pour into your hearts and minds. You are greatly loved by your Heavenly Father, and He only has the kindest intentions toward you. All you must do is be willing to receive.

Heavenly Father, may Your Holy Spirit be present with every individual who will be reading this devotional. I pray that each person will have such an encounter with the love and desire You have for them. That they would live in deep intimacy with You. Father God, release each person from a negative mind-set, a negative perception, by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Lose off self-hatred and every lie that sets itself up against You. Allow it to be completely removed and never to return. Thank you, Father, for You are our deliverer. It is You and only You who enables us to receive all that You have for us in Your word. Enable us to receive all Your promises in full measure. Father God, thank you for lavishing us with Your divine and perfect love. I ask that all who will read this devotional would be immersed in Your true love. That every lie will be broken, every negative word that was ever spoken over anyone reading this devotional will be loosed from its stronghold. That the truth of God’s word would be bound upon each one’s heart, mind, spirit and soul. Open the eye’s of each one’s heart. May Your word be planted with deep roots and do it’s transforming work in each one’s life. Thank You that Your word is alive and active and does not come back void. We commit ourselves into Your care and keeping. We ask You to fight every battle we are facing; the battle belongs to You, Lord. Have Your divine way in our lives through the mighty power and authority of Your Spirit. Thank You for the complete victory!
