How to Heal a Cracked Heel:Let's Google It - Kathy Costa McKeown
The Journey
If I had to sit back and reflect on the eight-year-old little girl filled with sadness, independence, love, belief, and forgiveness, I would never have thought of the abundance that the universe would have provided in the future for this soul. Some may call it luck,
but as the journey unfolds, I believe every twist, turn, obstacle, and meltdown have its proper place and timing in all things. I am honestly not sure where this is going, but for certain, it must move forward.
We all have the ability and inner makings of fixing, forgiving, and leading a life that continually moves and vibrates in a positive forward momentum. However, the truth is that we all get stuck
along the way, and the detours, sometimes difficult and disastrous, take us off course. The truth is our winding roadways provide us the opportunity to hold and catch our breath and release and surrender to what is. However, this, at times, cannot only be fearful but incredibly challenging to accept and conquer all at once. Is one not to believe life is supposed to be beautiful at all times?
Ah, but it is, my lovely friend, only with reality
at the forefront showing us and teaching us that all obstacles provide opportunity for those willing to fall down and get back up. Again, not easy but definitely doable. Doable.
What work are we honestly willing to do with what percentage of effort? I feel, as I humbly sit writing on yet another blank page, while life is continuously unfolding in front of me creating both smiles and frowns simultaneously on my face and stamped on my heart, this is exactly where I am meant to be. Let’s together begin this journey of one not lucky
but blessed
life.

Abundance
Abundant blessings is one of my personal wishes and direct requests that I ask of God on a daily basis. This I not only ask for all whom I love and do not personally know, but also ask frequently for all mankind to be abundantly blessed. My personal journey had most definitely been lessons I needed to learn whether willing to accept, block, or guard these things will be my personal GPS navigation. Let’s explore together as the exploration unfolds and hope to find the willingness, openness, challenges, failures, success, love, and joy in all things!
Let’s all go back and find that eight-year-old child who is very much alive in each and every one of us whether we have buried, lost touch, or believe he/she does not have a reflection on who we are today. Are you willing? As for myself, she is sitting on her living room floor with two crooked ponytails while watching television as her daddy walks out the door.
Those crooked ponytails, I believe, were the start of my cracked heels.
Daddy, where are you going with all of your clothes?
I’m moving out, ask your mother.
Let’s remember she is eight years old with a very curious, creative, sensitive, and colorful soul. If I could hold her in my arms today, I would most definitely embrace her, kiss her, and let her know that she is completely safe, loved, and cherished by all. A perfect little being with no flaws whatsoever, perfectly made in God’s eyes for all to see and love. I would be sure she fully understood that she would light up the universe daily and share love and light so very generously with all whom she came into contact. Oh, but how sweet all this sounds; it is only the beginning. Not so, but here we are together supporting, loving, and embracing one another as this story unfolds for each one of us personally.
I am so grateful you are willing to take
