Heart of The Matter - Kenneth Pecoraro

    Fighter

    symbol.jpg

Fighters never quit; only quitters rarely fight,

so be a fighter fit only always do what’s right .

Fighters never lose; although they may not always win,

there’s just something about them. They always come back with a grin.

Quitters very rarely win, but they may not always lose.

There’s just something about them. It seems they always have the blues.

So why be a quitter? You can’t see always looking down.

Try being a fighter; take your eyes off the ground.

Fighters are just human beings with their eyes fixed straight ahead. They have problems like everyone else, except they never quit until they’re dead. Fighters never really die, only in a physical manner.

I’m sure there’s a place on high that’s always flying the good banner!

    United

    symbol.jpg

When will all the churches, come together and unite?

Stand up for the things of God, help the poor black and white? We are related although through looks, you couldn’t tell.

People hurting people so many going to hell. Christians are God’s voice in this world today.

We need to stand together after we kneel and pray.

When will all the churches come together and fight with a loving united effort to show everyone the light?

Any church with the basics of Jesus on the cross has what if takes to help the hurting and the lost.

We must realize the time is drawing near.

There is a need to work together. We need not live in fear.

When will all the churches come together in might, working together, red, brown, yellow, black, and white? It’s more than just preaching to those who don’t know.

It’s loving, then teaching, so more will get to go. We must help the spiritually lost at the point of their need.

The Lord will supply the cost, if we’re willing to take the lead! There’s really only one church; it was paid for on a tree.

Jesus Christ was crucified; he died for you and me.

    Life’s Lemons

    symbol.jpg

Have you ever felt alone, persecuted, or betrayed?

The Lord is closer than a brother, when life makes you afraid. The key in this situation is to give it to the Lord.

Did I forget to mention, he has a very large sword? It’s gonna hurt for a while, for in this life there’s pain.

Don’t forget to trust the Lord. Let your bitterness refrain. When life sends you a lemon, let the Lord come to your aid,

for he is like a fresh cool drink, while sitting in the shade. He doesn’t say it won’t be rocky; he doesn’t say it won’t be blue.

We are supposed to rejoice in suffering which is so very hard to do!

    Christian Warrior

    symbol.jpg

The times we live in are right for every Christian to stand up and fight.

Young ones old ones, meek ones, and bold ones, it’s time to get out of the pews.

Go tell the world about the good news. Say what we mean and mean what we say.

We shouldn’t stand around doing nothing all day. This opens the door to the devil, you see.

I tried it once, then what happened to me. Fatally wounded, I thought I would die.

You lifted me up, Lord, to a place on high like a little bird learning to fly.

A warrior indeed is what we must be, in order to serve with any certainty.

Serving the Lord with all of our heart; putting on the whole armor of God, not just a part.

    Youthful Sins

    symbol.jpg

When were young and foolish, we can’t really understand how the bondage of our sinful deeds affect us as men.

It’s not until we take a look at all the wrongful things we’ve done, then make the changes that we need with forgiveness from the son.

We must regret our wrongful deeds, or we’ll never see the light.

We’ll just keep making the same old mistake while fighting the wrong fight.

The fight we fight without his light is a vain fight indeed,

for we are supposed to fight the good fight, which sets the captives free

    Biblical Famine

    symbol.jpg

The greatest famine we have on earth today is for the word of God and what it has to say.

It’s really a shame; we’re almost all the same, serving envy, pride, and hate.

Most never learn for they’ll surely burn and miss God’s heavenly gate. The Bible’s very clear, but most won’t hear or ever receive his way.

This is not God’s will; he loves us, still hoping none will miss their day. God is very fair. He will always be there, if we’ll only call on his name.

It’s never too late, to love, not hate, for life is not just a game. There are consequences ahead after we’re dead, for not choosing the narrow path.

The wide road’s fun; it has most everyone, but in the end it’s all wrath.

The good news is the eternal life we’ll find, if we’ll serve the Lord with our whole heart, good strength, and mind!

    No Fear

    symbol.jpg

This one thing I’ve learned, I’m not ashamed to say.

Don’t give fear a place in your life today. Be thankful in what you have. Rejoice in who you are.

You are God’s creation; he’s never very far.

If it seems that way to you in the trial that you face, just take a look inside with your heart’s eye on his grace.

That is why his son was sent down here to earth to pay a debt he didn’t owe, so that we would
