The world today has become Sodom and Gomorrah all over again. Within these chapters, our Lord speaks of what He is not happy with. From our most famous leaders to the drug addict, alcoholic, or homeless, He is speaking to you to come directly to Him. He is reaching out to each of you who sees the truth in these chapters. We live in an ugly ungodly world, and He does not like it. This book won't fix it. I'm sure. It can, however, inspire you to listen to Him speak to you and inspire you to step away from this worldly life we are caught up in. Seek to change to please only Him. If only our leaders would lead by the teachings of Jesus, change would follow. This is not likely to happen; therefore, each of us must find His words spoken in this book to inspire each of us to talk with Him, walk with Him, obey Him, and not be part of this world. There is a better world for you coming if you listen to Him. Is God speaking to you?

Introduction

This book is about God! In these chapters, you will find my ramblings about different subjects. The title of this book is the rambling of an old man. As I was writing, however, words were flowing through me that God , through the Holy Spirit, was giving to you. It is my intent to reach someone or, better yet, many to listen to God speak. You will need to discern for yourself what just my ramblings are and what is spirit-led. I was very inspired while writing this book and concede that I'm neither a Bible scholar nor do I claim to be. Many will take offense to some of what I wrote. The Bible scholars will jump all over me, but so be it. I write it as I feel it.

Chapter 1

Choosing Your Mate

Are you choosing your mate or maybe your next mate? When a woman starts to look for the right man, she tends to look for what I refer to as a hunk. This means he is good to look at and is masculine. Men, of course, do the same. She will be built nicely, is pleasing to look at, and have a nicely shaped body. After a period, these qualities are great, but the real person their soul turns out to be is not so great.

After months and too many years, the most important things like following the Lord's rules and regulations and commandments are not their top priority. Even when they find someone putting the Lord first, that someone is looked upon as not fun to be with. The so-called fun in this world is sinful and not pleasing to God. But two people, a male and female, together who truly want to please our Lord are blessed with true happiness. It is a rare thing to find a couple like this in this world today.

There are too many superficial tendencies for us to want others to say, Wow, look at the guy she got or the girl he is with. Look much deeper than appearance when you are making a choice. Also, don't be fooled by those who claim to look to God and please Him when their actions tell otherwise. How many men and women spend time in church but boozing up in a bar or club the very night before church or in
