I am Ana Maria Pepi, Italian-Argentinean. I was born in the Province of Mendoza, the land of sun and good wine, very near to the Andes Mountains.My parents were Italian, originally from "Le Marche", a region famous in the world for its excellence in the production of "Made in Italy" footwear. In this beautiful place, on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, is where I currently live.I am Mendocina and I am Marchigiana.In Argentina, after obtaining the Diploma in Accounting, at the age of 17, I entered the National University of Cuyo, Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, to study English Language and Literature to be an English Teacher. But, After moving to Italy, I graduated at Macerata University in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures: English and Spanish.And so, I am trilingual.I am a curious and optimistic soul, my great passion is to constantly learn new things, explore new worlds whether in reading or traveling.Learning how things are done is an emotional journey for curious and observant people who are hungry to know in order to be more productive and happy.My dominant question is how can I be more useful and put myself at the service of others.Eureka! My parents were Italian, originally from Le Marche, a region famous in the world for its excellence in the manufacture of Made in Italy footwear.  In this beautiful place, on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, is where I currently live. 

I feel Mendocina and Marchigiana as well.

In Argentina, after obtaining the Diploma of Commercial Accountant, at the age of 17, I entered the National University of Cuyo, Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, to study English Language and Literature and graduate as an English teacher.

But, one winter day in 1986, while I was studying literature, history and English language, to take the difficult 3rd year exams, the doorbell rang and it was my cousin Franco from Italy!

Without warning, he came to visit my dad and me. At that time, the two of us lived alone because my mother had passed away two years earlier.   My older brother Alfredo was living in Buenos Aires and my brother Roberto was living in Belgium. He, who traveled all over Europe, always sent me pictures of those wonderful places and also of the family reunions, in the times when he lived in Italy, where you could see that they were all very united and always surrounded by children playing happily.

I dreamed deeply about those photos, and on one occasion, I also received a cassette, one of those that no longer exist, with the songs of Pino Daniele, with whom I fell in love instantly and will carry forever in my heart!  I used to listen and sing his songs, well, more or less, because I didn't speak a word of Italian and he sang in the Napolitan dialect!

Now, I know that it was me who, without knowing, had attracted my cousin to my house! Yes, thanks to the law of attraction!  Thanks to the law of mentalism! Thanks to those vibrations that attract each other by correspondence.

That's the explanation I gave myself for all that incredible surprise!

When I was 5 years old I traveled for the first time to Italy with my parents. It was an extraordinary experience because it already denoted the beginning of what was going to be the plot of my life: Languages and travels!

I fondly remember an anecdote from my childhood, when my cousin Franco couldn't understand a word I said when I spoke to him in Spanish, and he innocently said to my mother: Zia, ma come parla Anna? Ma, che ė un po' stupetella?! Naturally, this phrase gave rise to a never-ending source of laughter among all of us! And so it remained imprinted in my memory forever. It was engraved by the emotion it produced!

That was my first contact with the language of my roots, apart from some phrases that were spoken at home, which were rather Itañol and the traditional Neapolitan songs that my dad liked so much.

And after that visit, my life changed! My cousin gave me the chance to travel to Italy and I was ready! I had no doubts. Instead of taking the train, for me it turned out to be a plane and I took it!

After two months of traveling in Italy and Europe, I had to make that life-changing decision.

I decided to stay in Italy, with the condition to resume my university studies and travel to England, to live its culture and to finally be able to speak with its people, the British English of RP (received pronunciation), which I studied so much in the laboratory, at the University, learning in phonetics to write the sounds! So it was that, 7 years later, I graduated in Italy at the Università degli Studi di Macerata in Lingue e Letteratura Inglese e Spagnolo, writing my Master Thesis, in Italian Language, with the title: The Castle Spectre nella Versione Spagnola di Manuel José Quintana, Macerata, 1994.

And so it is that, today, I am trilingual.

Other dreams that came true, but not without having taken action and struggled to achieve all my results.

Today, I find myself once again in front of the possibility to change my life and I also feel ready to take this first step.

Here I am!  My destiny is already on its way, because I have already decided and created it in my mind and I am doing everything necessary for it to manifest!
