Connor Whiteley

Hello, I'm Connor Whiteley, I am an 18-year-old who loves to write creatively, and I wrote my Brownsea trilogy when I was 14 years old after I went to Brownsea Island on a scout camp. At the camp, I started to think about how all the broken tiles and pottery got there and somehow a trilogy got created. Moreover, I love writing fantasy and sci-fi novels because you’re only limited by your imagination. In addition, I'm was an Explorer Scout and I love camping, sailing and other outdoor activities as well as cooking.Furthermore, I do quite a bit of charity work as well. For example: in early 2018 I was a part of a youth panel which was involved in creating a report with research to try and get government funding for organised youth groups and through this panel. I was invited to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party and how some of us got in the royal photograph. Finally, I am going to university and I hope to get my doctorate in clinical psychology in a few years.

Knock At The Door - Connor Whiteley

    KNOCK AT THE DOOR

Private Investigator Amelia Pinkie loved walking along the River Thames in the heart of the River Thames. She just loved the amazing smell of the cargo ships, fishing boats and even fresh gusts of wind that all combined in an amazing combination. That thankfully gave her a few minutes rest from the polluting smell of central London.

As Amelia wondered along the long concrete path along its banks, Amelia listened to the great popping, banging and minor explosions that assaulted her ears. The river normally was a lot quieter but it was still far better than the business of London with all those people.

It was probably why her ghost friend Harvey spent all his time out here now he was dead. Amelia still had no idea where he died, who he was when he died or even some time period he came from, but he was a good little friend to have when it came to the tough cases.

But he had never called her before today. It was normally the other way round.

As much as it scared Amelia and made her utterly nervous, she couldn’t deny she was looking forward to it. Sometimes Harvey’s stories from his life and death... well, life sounded so amazing, exciting and utterly thrilling.

And after doing background checks for months with no so-called real cases, Amelia would love to get out of her office for more
