Easy Lie Detection Techniques - Allain Verdugo

    Introduction

It is both a science and an art to recognize lies and deceptions. Everyone lies at least once, whether at work, at home, or in public. Lying is human nature, so it is common to distort or conceal facts to improve one's image. Some people intentionally deceive others, especially in business negotiations, and even con artists try to deceive innocent people.

Lying is a part of everyday life. People lie to protect themselves or to get what they want. Sometimes people make up stories to cover up their mistakes or make themselves look better. The problem is, as a society, we don’t always recognize when someone is telling us a lie—and it’s not always obvious to the person who’s being misled either. The truth is that most people who have something to hide will not lie about it and will tell you a portion of what they saw or what they did. However, they won't reveal anything that might incriminate them. In other words, they won't give you the absolute truth by leaving out the damning details.

If you’re looking for a way to spot lies and deception in others, you’re not alone. All of us want to know if someone is telling the truth or lying. We all try to determine whether someone is being truthful based on their body language and facial expressions. But how do we distinguish truth from lies? This book shows how people lie and what questions to ask to understand what is going on. This book may have appealed to you because you are curious about whether or not someone is lying? Or if it will help you understand deception better? Knowing the difference between a lie and the truth is an invaluable human skill that will be useful in daily life. This book is for everyone, regardless of gender, age, or background. It will give you the necessary tools to become a human lie detector.

    The Nature of Lies

A lie is a physical act, verbal statement, or omission intended to deceive another. For example, shoplifters may lie by giving security personnel the outward impression of being honest while slyly taking products from the shelves. Verbally, a person may try to mislead another person by saying or not saying certain things. Both examples
