    Over two decades ago, what is now the Education and Social Sciences Department, sponsored a Kwanzaa production on campus. The enthusiastic support from Dennis Nagi, department chair at the time, led the way. The Hudson Valley Community College’s president and other key administrators were equally instrumental in making the event a successful learning experience for students, faculty and staff.
