David Baldacci
David Baldacci was born in Richmond, Virginia in 1960. He graduated from Henrico High School and went on to Virginia Commonwealth University and then to Law School at the University of Virginia.
After passing the Bar Exam, Baldacci practiced law in Washington D.C. for 9 years during which time he also found time to work on a novel. That book, Absolute Power, became an instant bestseller.
David Baldacci has written numerous books with a variety of series characters, as well as 10 standalone novels and 1 novella. He was also the editor of the bestselling short story collection, Faceoff.
Baldacci lives with his family in Fairfax County, Virginia, where he and his wife, Michelle, co-founded the Wish You Well Foundation, which works to combat illiteracy in the
