The Heartbreak...
To anyone with a broken heart, feel it and heal from it.
The Heartbreak...
I’ve got nothing now
I let you slip away...
My hesitation, procrastination,
lead to this invasion of loneliness
that I am now facing.
––––––––
I sit and watch you happy...
It’s not me you are loving
so I constantly, reluctantly try to
erase you from my memory
although there is no true possibility
that you will be removed permanently
––––––––
If I could turn back the hands of time...
I’d caress your chest, profess my undying
admiration, nonetheless, then confess that I was
wrong to be so careless, your heart was the only
thing I would cherish, now thoughts I ponder
are pointless.
––––––––
I want another chance...
A second time to charm, easing you
into my arms, holding you at night
to keep you so warm, moments so
sweet and rare prolonged
I swear my love would
have been unusually far...
from the norm.
––––––––
You’re gone...
Now here I sit dumb founded,
My hesitation, procrastination
allowed it, I’ll admit, I’m madly
jealous and I’m proud of it, she
makes you so happy, it makes me
Sick! And I, I allowed this bullshit
I allowed you to slip away,
How fuckin foolish...
Misery+Company=?
Misery loves company
but company isn’t sure
about how he feels
about misery.
Company loves to nurture
Misery loves to torture
When company first met
misery it was by mistake
but somehow turned into fate.
Company is confused at this
point because misery can't
live without him
Company can't do it
with misery anymore
so misery is kicked out
the door. Company is by
his lonesome to take
