    Introduction

God wants to teach you how to dominate so you can take the spiritual control He gives you over the works of the enemy.  You don’t have to go around allowing the enemy of your soul, the devil, to bully you and have the upper hand.  You can decide to take the Word of God in hand and by faith use it to dominate over what he’s trying to do.

We have to realize something about our faith, and it’s this: the Bible never describes our faith as being nice and sweet.  We won’t find that description in the Scriptures.  But what we do find in the Word is that faith is aggressive.  When you use aggressive faith, you can see the work of God done in your life and experience miracles.

This is not just for our personal lives, but if we are going to have a great awakening and get people into the kingdom of God in these end times, we are going to have to dominate spiritually.  We cannot allow Satan to do whatever he wants with the souls of the people of this world.  Believe you can see God’s best come to your life and to those He calls you to help.

    Get Aggressive

You are at the point right now that if you want to see your desire come about, you’re going to have to have aggressive faith.  That’s the kind of faith that causes you to go after it.  It makes your doubt or fear take a backseat so you are free to pursue what God has for you.  You dominate.  See how to have aggressive faith so that it pushes you into the realm of the impossible until you see it become possible with God.

    Chapter 1

    Have Aggressive Faith

There comes a time that if we’re going to live in what God has for us and see conditions change, we’re going to have to have aggressive faith.  Aggressive faith is faith which is forceful, intense, on the move.  You’re going after something with energy and determination.

I encourage you to let the Spirit open your eyes to the fact that you are at this point right now.  The point where you must act with aggressive faith.  That’s because you are at a point in your need that you’re going to have to have this kind of believing before you can see your desire come about.  It’s the kind that causes you to go after it.  You dominate instead of being dominated.

To do that, you have to be convinced!  Convinced means that you are persuaded, and you are so persuaded that you’re willing to act that way.  You go after what you desire with full conviction.  I like the way one person described having confidence that way.  He said, Confidence is going after Moby Dick with a rowboat, a harpoon, and a jar of tartar sauce.

Now, that is someone who has determination and conviction he’s going to find the whale, Moby Dick, and he will be successful in capturing and eating him.  So much so, he brings the sauce with him.  But if we’re not convinced, we just drift around in our boat.  We don’t go after Moby Dick with the right preparation and tools.  Tools of faith and conviction.

We won’t be prepared with enough passion to keep going when it’s hard to harpoon the whale.  So we begin to doubt and want to turn back.  Conditions are not good, the events didn’t go the way we envisioned, so we’re not convinced enough to stay after it.  But that’s not how aggressive faith acts.

Instead of being dictated to by doubt, aggressive faith is the one that dictates the way things are going to be.  It does not receive and embrace impossibility and failure.  But this kind of faith is convinced, and, therefore, dictates to our thoughts and emotions that it’s possible, and it will happen as our faith causes it to come into existence.

I believe you are as I am.  We have so many things we want accomplished that we have to have aggressive faith or they will continue to set there not done.  They will not become a part of our lives, just a memory of disappointment.  We don’t want to exist with disappointing memories.  But that is all we will have if we do not have the kind of faith that causes us to pursue what God has for us.

We received a call for prayer when a woman discovered a growth on her forehead.  She was told it might be cancer, so she went to her family doctor.  The he referred her to a dermatologist, but she couldn’t get an appointment for six months.  She said that our teachings gave her illustrations that helped her visualize what she was to do and that’s what she needed in order to know how to have aggressive faith.  So she prayed over the growth and cursed it as Jesus cursed the fig tree and disease.  (Ref. Matthew 21.)  Within six weeks, it fell off!

That’s why we need aggressive faith.  It’s because it gives us energy when conditions are pulling us down.  It helps us keep going forward when events are working against us.  Aggressive faith pushes us on into the realm of the impossible and helps us see how it can be possible with God.  It makes our doubt or fear take a backseat.  It just pushes it out of the way so we can dominate against it.

So without that kind of believing, many things will go past us and push us back.  We won’t have the passion to go after that dream, that child or spouse, or the type of career we desire.  We have to have determined faith to break and to disintegrate disease and sickness, addiction, and depression.  We have to have aggressive faith to combat temptation and sin.

We cannot exist in this world where Satan and his forces are so aggressive and not be that way ourselves for God.  Our faith can stop aggressive decline into debt.  We can come against wrong voices and influence those around us from being deceived.  Oh, yes, it’s time!  It’s time to have aggressive faith and go after it.  Go after what God wants us to pursue.

We have to get a vision of that or this whole principle that God is showing us won’t stick with us.  We have to get a vision of having the kind of faith that is so convinced that we’re going to receive what God’s Word promises, we allow it to dictate to our thoughts and emotions.

You see, doubt tries to dictate to us, This is what you’re going to believe.  This is what you’re going to feel.  Failure.  Disappointment.  Discouragement.  But here is what faith dictates to you; it says, You are convinced and persuaded God will keep His Word.  You can move forward with the force of this belief.  So go after it.

Now, those are the kinds of messages you need coming into your thoughts and emotions when you’re in the midst of trying to see something happen in your life.  You cannot acquiesce to what is being aggressive toward you.  When those thoughts and emotions of defeat try to take over and be aggressive, you pull out your determined faith and hit them right in the face.  Show fervor for what you believe God is going to do.

You know, you cannot mess around with what’s happening in your life and in this world.  You have to be convinced that God is on your side and is working for you.  He will produce what you need.

I think of a woman who does this in such a powerful way.  Whenever she has a need, she gets aggressive with her faith.  The way she does that is to get aggressive with her giving.  In other words, when the devil is trying to steal something from her and cause her to pull back, she does the reverse.  She gives to God out of her need.

That’s showing the devil that he cannot stop the fulfillment of God’s Word because what does God’s Word say happens when you give and you do it in a sacrificial way?  He will give back to you so much more than what you gave into His work.  She believes those scriptures.  That’s what being convinced is all about.  Simply believing God’s Scripture.

So this woman believed God would bless her according to His promises when she needed some work done on her house.  She didn’t have enough funds to make this happen, so she prayed about what to do.  That’s when God moved on her to give into His work, and she obeyed.  Not too much time after that, God provided a new source of income which was enough to enable her to make the changes she had to have done on her home.

This happens all the time to her.  When she has a need and she gets aggressive in her faith, that need is met.  No one will ever convince her it doesn’t work.  She’s convinced that as she has aggressive faith, God will produce His promise in her life.  So with enthusiasm she goes after it.  That’s because she knows it’s going to produce God’s will for her.  The outcome will be what He has designated and designed for her life.  In other words, she goes after Moby Dick with her tartar sauce ready.  She knows she’s going to eat of the good God has prepared.

One of the best examples of aggressive faith in the Bible is in Mark chapter 2.  It’s the story of four men who gave of their time and effort to do something for another man who was paralyzed.  His entire existence was being on a mat unable to go anywhere.  But these men were convinced Jesus could heal him, and he would walk again.  So they picked up his mat and started on the journey to get to a house where they heard Jesus was speaking to a crowd of people.

As soon as they arrived at the house, they saw it was so packed no one else could get into the house.  In fact they were standing outside the building.  Back then they didn’t have big TV monitors they could place on the outside of the building so everyone could see what was going on inside.  That meant the four men were pushed out.  No way to get the paralyzed man to the Lord.  So what could they do but go home?

What can you do when the way has been shut out for you?  Go home and forget it?  Admit your defeat?  Say that you tried and it didn’t work, so you’ll have to live with disappointment?  Not if you have aggressive faith.  And that’s what these men had.

Aggressive faith says, I don’t receive that answer.  A shut door cannot stop me.  The crowd cannot keep me back.  I’m going to get to Jesus and receive what He has for me.  That’s the kind of faith you can have when you are convinced, really convinced, that God can do what He says He can do.  These men were convinced.  So they decided to go after it.

Instead of taking the paralyzed man back and telling him there was no hope, they went up on the rooftop of the house.  This rooftop was flat and had tiles on it so they knew it was possible to remove the tiles.  Can you even imagine these men up on the roof digging a hole in the top of it as Jesus was trying to teach and the people were crowded inside there?  But it worked!  That’s because they were doing it under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

That’s a very important key.  Your aggressive faith has to be under the control of the Holy Spirit.  The reason is because He has to direct your actions and words so you do things in the right timing and the right way.  You don’t want to do things that are going to have bad results and then wonder why it went wrong when you were having faith.  No, true faith is always controlled by God’s Spirit.  Just doing your own thing is not having aggressive faith.  When you believe God’s Word and you’re being controlled by the Holy Spirit, then you can be convinced you’ll see results.

These men were convinced and under the guidance of the Spirit as they opened up a hole in the roof.  Then with ropes they lowered the paralyzed man right down in front of Jesus.  The Bible says Jesus responded to their what?  Their faith.  He saw, These guys are aggressive!

So when He saw their confidence in God to heal, He responded.  That paralyzed man WALKED out of there.  How could he do that?  Because of aggressive faith.  That’s what caused those four men to get him there, and keep going when the door was shut, and put him right in front of the One who could change his condition from paralysis to wholeness.  Because they were convinced, they received everything their faith was after.

Today, your faith is saying, Go after it!  Be aggressive.  Be convinced.  That’s when the Holy Spirit will guide you into the way He has for you.  You can receive what you need.

A Spiritual Powerline to say out loud: I HAVE AGGRESSIVE FAITH.

    Chapter 2

    Voice What You’re After

Have you heard the story about what happened when a boy was sitting at the dinner table with his parents and their friends?  They were having a dinner party with quite a few people, and everyone was talking at once.  So there was a lot of noise.

This small boy was just sitting there, when all of a sudden he screamed out, Pass the butter!  It shocked his parents that he would do that, and right away they scolded him for not behaving in front of their friends.  He knew better than to be rude and yell at the table, especially when guests were there.  He tried to explain, but they were too embarrassed to hear him so right away they sent him to his room.

After the meal, the father got everybody together in the living room and said he wanted them to hear something.  He had decided to record the talk during dinner time.  He thought it would be fun to play it in front of everyone.  When he played it, the people were talking so much at the same time, they could barely make out what each one was saying—except one voice.  It was a small voice that said, Please pass the butter.  A few minutes went by and once again, Please pass the butter.

No one could hear him, and even though he asked for it several times, there was no response.  So all of a sudden they heard the loud yell, Pass the butter!  Then they realized they had been unfair to the boy.  They saw the reason for his outburst.  He was simply voicing what he was after so he could be heard.

Sometimes you will be drowned out.  The enemy will have so much coming against you that your voice can’t be heard.  He wants to stop your needs from being heard and met.  He causes events or people to override you.  That’s when you have to get aggressive or you will be dominated.  Go after it.  Voice what you’re after!  Voice what you want!  Do it in a way that you can be heard.  That means that you say
