No Footage Found - Andre Barker
Foreword
A group of very enthusiastic urban explorers visit the abandoned and now dilapidated Mary-Agnes Children’s Hospital. Their plan is to explore the building and to film what they find for their YouTube channel. Ah, I’ve seen this movie, you immediately think to yourself.

Matt tries to look out by the window of the hospital room. It is still exactly the same, solid darkness. In fact he never saw darkness like this before in his life. Not only does the darkness look solid, it is as if it is alive. Why, oh why did he decide to come to this place? Immediately upon thinking that the loud sounds and especially the creepy footsteps become audible again. The sounds are loud and it really seems as if there are people or creatures searching for him. From the deep groaning sounds it is clear their intentions with him are not good. So he will have to keep moving to keep out of their sight.
The problem is, there are no more localities around here to hide from them. All the rooms are empty. The only thing he can do is to run at top speed through the very dangerous and long passageways. These passageways might be paths to safety and sanity, but they are very dangerous to use. He has that experience. The passageway can suddenly become endless, or it can end in solid darkness where the most terrible and blood thirsty creatures awaits one. He does not even understand how this could be possible. Although there were many reports on the Internet about this place, he never heard of stuff like this happening to anyone. On the other hand, most explorers probably didn't survive this.
This is real, it is happening to him and it's scary as hell.
If he ever gets out of this place, he'll never hunt for ghosts as long as he lives. Living people give one more than enough trouble to go looking for ghosts. For what?
His two friends that came with him on this exploration went AWOL hours ago. From the faraway screams and groans he heard, while trying to escape, give him the suspicion they are dead.
He still has his backpack with him. He packed away his camera long ago and he now only holds onto the powerful camera-light. The light is now his only salvation, although he knows it doesn't look good. They have been using it the whole night long and how long is that battery still going to last? It seems as if he had been in this place for many hours. With the darkness outside the building it is clear that he had lost complete track of time. It can't still be dark on the outside.
They started filming at twenty-one-hundred hours. An hour later everything went pear shaped when they entered the only room that still had furniture and equipment in it. What they saw inside that room made them to run in panic. They automatically got separated in the utter confusion of trying to get away from that...that thing.
It has been hours since then and it should already be dawn. Even his watch shows it is eight thirty in the morning, which means the sun should be up already.
Matt quickly shines the powerful light around the room. The room is big, but it has a dividing wall. Just thinking of what is behind that dividing wall scares all the jitters out of him. The problem is there are loud footsteps coming from behind, so he would have to find out what was behind that wall. He was not going back to that doorway and that hellish passageway. It now sounds like a whole crowd of footsteps are coming towards him. That low moaning sound like a hungry animal is as creepy as hell and he just wants to get away from it with all his might.
The fear forms in the pit of his stomach and then it vomits upwards and spread right across his whole body, filling him with a cold dread. He would have to go pass that dividing wall to find out what is on the other side.
The powerful lamp suddenly goes out completely without any warning. He feels how his stomach drops down to his feet as cold fear fills his whole system. The darkness around him is solid as his eyes now desperately search for some light to lock onto. It is an intensive darkness that he never witnessed before in his life.
Then, redemption.
The light slowly flickers back to life and then back to full power lighting up the room as if it is daylight.
He hastily walks towards the dividing wall. There is no time to waste now.
Whoever or, even worse, whatever is looking for him, will soon find him. He quickly shines the light around. There is nothing on the other side and it simply looks like a mirror image of the side he just came from. The footsteps are coming closer and he thinks they are at the door's edge now on the other side of the dividing wall. Luckily, there is another exit in front of him. Praise God.
They never
