You are going to love this, Faye. Don't look so stressed. Her mother said as she looked her up and down. This will be a complete change of scene for you and you will always remember it as one of the greatest times of your life. Don't forget to take lots of photos. We will talk on Facebook every day.

The seventeen year old girl looks at her mother and smiles brightly.

Faye feels the strong exhilaration moving through her body like a stream of fresh water. She was accepted into the student exchange program and was now going to Spain, all expenses paid. Faye always hated being in waiting rooms. She loves to read, but even when she brought a book, and read while in the waiting room, she still hated it. It was just the atmosphere and the other people...so close to her. She hated people being close to her. In a waiting room she had to spend an extended period of time amongst people she didn't know and didn't care about. She especially hated it when someone accidentally bumped against her. She hated it when people touched her, even her own family. Having a stranger touch her was even worse. She doesn't know why she is like this; it was just the way she always felt.

Okay, the airport lounge where she was in currently was not exactly a waiting room, but still. She is bored as she looks through the big windows at the concrete runway down below. A dull blue plane had just
