To Tess, who, more than any other soul, shared my absolute passion for championing people to live their potential by creating a life they love. We were study partners throughout graduate school, coach training, and beyond. Though we don’t share our journeys any longer, my heart desires that she too is enjoying a life she loves.

To Mel and Laura, two master minders, who believed in my dream creation even during those dark days when I wasn’t able to do so.

To Joe, who along the way loved and cared for Lucy, our canine pal, during the ups and downs of this journey, but especially during the downs. He was also a witness to the long process of me becoming the human I needed to be to live my authentic dreams.

To Ross, who listened to me talk about my book endlessly for years. He encouraged me and never lost his patience, though I’m pretty sure he came close.

To friends who simply said, Keep going, when I shared my scribbles and rough musings along the way. Even if we no longer share a path, your help was the oxygen needed to keep my creative self breathing.

To Janet, a childhood friend and cocreator of our childhood place, called Jady Island, who became a brilliant illustrator in adulthood. She understood the vision for each illustration through my simple descriptions and examples and brought them to life in the most magnificent way.

To Gabe, whom I met one day in my backyard. We sat and discussed the energy of the book for hours on end, helped attract the invisible helpers, and used his gifts and skills to bring it into its final visual form.

If you’ve read this dedication, you’ve probably gathered that dream creation of your soul can be full of ups and downs. We never do anything alone. We need lots of help. I hope this book helps you navigate the ups and downs by understanding them better.

Finally, thank you to all of my captors who held me in false realities at different times throughout my life. I got stuck in their dreams as a character of their making, rather than as the protagonist of my own. As such, their dreams became my nightmares. I always found my way out of captivity through the light of my own heart and the desire for freedom—a diamond in the making.

Freedom is the ultimate dream, I believe. Prison can be a literal place with walls, but more often it is a place where we get stuck spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and/or physically based on a false belief that there is no way out and no option. Actually, dreaming and codreaming are the only ways out of the enslavement of situations requiring us to give away our power.

If my captors didn’t externalize the beliefs I held within myself—the lies, deceit, and abuse meant to keep me falsely small—I would never have woken up and grown into my own strength, power, and authentically divine self.

Lastly, thank you, ancestors on the other side, who showed up at the perfect moment with the most insightful messages during both my dream and waking hours. Thank you to my star family, the Arcturians, who came into my dream time as a hologram to activate me into higher states of conscious love.

Humble gratitude to Prime Creator, Jesus, Mary, the angelic realm, benevolent higher dimensional beings of all kinds, archangels, and all of the magnificent beings on this beautiful planet, for the strength through faith to carry on with the sacred task of completing this love offering through my heart.

This book is written for the daydreamer and imaginative part that dwells in each of us—the innocent one who sees life with a sense of wonder, believes in magic and miracles, and feels that the seemingly impossible can be made possible when we keep the faith and do the work it takes to make it real. That divinely human part of us that can sometimes sit daydreaming for hours and allow life to unfold. It is our creator self that is made by the Prime Creator, divine love, God, and the Source of all that is expressed through the Christ light of unconditional love.

We were closest to that part of ourselves as children—before we became too externally focused and overly scheduled, before we disconnected from our rich inner worlds.

Because our need to be seen and valued by those adults around us was so strong in childhood, we learned to hide some of the most authentic parts of ourselves so we could be accepted and supported. We were taught in the 3D earth school to prioritize the instinctive self for survival over the deeper soul self that is aligned with divine love. Deep down, we long to be seen, accepted, and unconditionally loved for who we truly are in all of our amazingness and vulnerability, with our natural gifts, unique talents, and even our real or imagined flaws.

For many of us, this original betrayal of our true self, higher self, soul self, sacred heart, Creator consciousness, Christ light, divine self, or whatever you prefer to call it left a deep hole in our hearts and a longing for home. We developed a deep mistrust of the true voice inside our hearts and replaced it with a narrator voice of fragmented ego that dwells in our heads. This voice keeps us in line and obedient to what we believe we should do to survive.

I believe this calling back to our real home—our own soul through the unconditional love found in our hearts, inside us all along—is a deep and universal dream for almost everyone. It cannot be filled in any other way than to reconnect with it.

It sounds simple and easy, yet the journey to return to that state of being requires an uncomfortable visit into our own programming, wounds, traumas, shadows, and conditioning. In other words, we need to release ourselves from everything that trained us to ignore our own hearts to begin with—the learned emotional responses, thoughts, choices, behaviors, patterns, and beliefs that we ourselves ended up inflicting in order to fit in, survive, avoid abuse, or whatever the original reasons.

We cannot bypass this part of our journey because to really love and reconnect with ourselves, we need to heal and rebalance our spirits, hearts, physical bodies, and brains from all the ways we got distorted along the way. We retrieve our lost soul fragments so we can be whole again and vibe in the frequency of love.

Even if you are a child or young person without a big shadow, you still may have ancestral, past-life, or other patterns to clear. None of us is completely in the clear, regardless of our age or circumstances. If you are a trauma survivor in this lifetime, the healing takes longer because you will easily get triggered into a fight, flight, or freeze response, which is a form of temporary paralysis.

If you are a pure and clear soul, you still live in a human collective consciousness, which at present needs a lot of healing and balancing. We are all in this together.

The magic, the wonder, the mystery and innocence of a child’s heart are the seeds of creativity that will heal the world.

This 3D earth school we were born into is a place filled with experiences for us to learn and grow. All of us came here as experienced souls with amnesia about who we really are, where we came from, and where we’ve been as souls. However, we have an abundance of clues in our lives that can help us remember.

Our ego selves were created to live in society and play the necessary roles to make our way in the world as taught to us by adults and society. Call it 3D, the matrix, the illusions, or the lower density. It’s an inversion, a distortion, an illusion made to dwell in the world we constructed ourselves through the roles we play and masks we wear of being a student, child, employee, voter, neighbor, spouse, friend, parent, and so on. It is not that any of these roles in the scripted life are negative in and of themselves. But roles can cast us in other people’s dreams (or nightmares) rather than our own authentic dreams and unique expression that we know we are here to experience on a soul level as creators.
