    Chapter 1

    Grampa, tell us a story, said Isaac, as he and his sister, Jozie pulled Grampa from his car. Sam/Grampa laughed heartily as his grandchildren took control of him. Soon, Grampa said.

    Inside his daughter Mary's house Grampa was greeted with a warm hug from Mary and a strong handshake from Roy, his son-in-law.

    Thanks a million, Dad, for coming at such short notice. It's important that we attend this meeting.

    Yeah, thanks Sam, Roy said.

    Then go, said Isaac. You don't want to be late.

    And then the kids 'gently' pushed their parents out the door. Stay as late as you want. We'll be fine.

    Mom and Dad knew that Grampa Time was Special Time. They pulled onto the street and gave a long honk.

    Okay, Grampa, said Jozie, Tell us about your adventure.

    Hmmmm, Grampa said as he stroked his thick, white beard ... he had a pile of white hair on top of his head too. His buddies called him Santa.

    I could tell about the time I met the Prince of Arabia; OR the time I tagged along with a scientist in Mongolia digging for a lost city; OR how about when I scuba-dived to the site of a sunken pirate ship.
