The Secret Plan of God - TebogoMofokeng
Have you ever thought God has become as confused as the World is? Have you ever felt like God has run out of plans to rescue His people? Have you ever thought evil has overshadowed all the good? ...
Well, cheer up. I have great news for you!! You are about to make a great discovery on The Secret Plan of God. This book is a great tool for steering you on the right path; the one filled with the secret Plan of the Most High for the victory of His Chosen.
All Scripture quotations are from the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible and the Good News Bible Version (GNBV) unless otherwise stated.
Introduction
Ecclesiastes 7:29 This is all that I have learnt: God made us plain and simple, but we have made ourselves very complicated. GNBV
God’s simplicity has become the greatest obstacle on man’s faith. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. This reality is supposed to make our dealings with Him easy because God does not change. Dealing with man is challenging, because man’s mind can change at any second, but what God has said remains until is fulfilled. Until we understand God understands Himself, we will never understand ourselves.
Ask everyone: Who are you and what do you want?
Ask this question every year and you will see man changes with time. God does not change, even in changing times. He is His Word. He is a God of order and no order can be achieved without a plan.
The heavens, earth and sea are no surprise or miracle before God for He designed them and spoke them as He planned. That is why in Genesis 1:2 Moses reveals God saw the earth was formless and desolate. God fixed things to be in the order He desired to see, because God had it all planned well before creation. Nothing in the original creation was a mistake. He created creation; it came about through God and for God and He was pleased with His work. Any errors in creation today do not indicate God failed in His work, but that creation chose to survive without its creator. It’s painful to be a good parent with the resources to support your child but ultimately find your child living on the street. If you can relate to this pain, you can at least relate to how God feels about those who reject Him.
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth
. NKJV
After God had created the universe according to His plan, He revealed a plan concerning man. Man’s creation was never a light decision from God; it was not a mistake. Man is special to God, because a child is created by and for Him.
Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. NKJV
Study Adam’s life, the first man on earth, and see how responsible God was for his life. God formed him from dust; gave him life; provided food and water through the Garden of Eden and even dressed him with His glory. God protected Adam and gave him authority not to merely survive, but to exercise the power invested in him, that exposes goodness and perfection (James 1:17).
Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him
. NKJV
All Adam needed, God provided. He even provided things beyond Adam’s thoughts. Eve was not in Adam’s plans, but God saw it fit to bless Adam with her.
Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. NKJV
King David, after finding God’s heart, wrote this:
Psalm 139:13-14 For you formed my inward parts; you covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
Psalm 139:17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them. NKJV
All King David had to do was to seek God, who truly created him and for Him. We have lowered our greatness by giving our parents the full responsibility for our lives including our future. To be honest these people are limited in the knowledge of our lives; they can only take good care of us, but they cannot answer us when we need to know who we really are. We even live in times where our parents ask us what we want to do in terms of our careers. This shows they are limited. God is the one who has all the answers we need regarding who we are and why we are here. These questions only God can answer.
Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom. NKJV
We have a good Father who we ignore daily; who we hurt by living lives that lead to failure and death. There are people who are hurt when they hear the word father
, because they never had one. Some their experiences with their fathers are nightmarish. It is easy to see one bad man or woman and conclude every man or woman is bad. Please do not conclude Father God is the same as any other father.
Psalm 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Psalm 27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me. NKJV
When God created man He was clear on His purpose and what man should do – the reason he is born is God’s preordained task for him. As parents we wait for our children to choose their career paths, but God sees a need and creates us as its solution. In God we don’t choose our careers but God chooses us in Him for His calling. Adam chose no work, but God described it for him (Genesis 2:15-17).
Jesus’ name reminded Him of His earthly purpose. Every time His name was called, duty called.
Isaiah 61:1-2 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted. To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, NKJV
Nobody is useless before God.
Jeremiah 29:11 I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster. Plans to bring about the future you hope for. GNBV
How many times have our plans failed? We hardly get full success from our plans. I believe Prophet Jeremiah was in the dark with his future; taking each day as it comes. Until God brought hope and light to his life and gave him rest by saying: I alone, know and have plans for you
, God wanted Jeremiah to surrender his plans. However, Jeremiah was delayed by planning his survival rather than progressing by submitting to God’s plans.
Because of betrayal, man no longer trusts anyone except himself. Everyone wants to be an individual with individual plans and successes. This survival-of-the-fittest mentality has shut our minds to the dependency we must have to God. Even when people pray, they do so selfishly. People ask for blessings and, as long as they have received whatever they had requested, they no longer need God. They believe they can survive without God.
However, God does not work like that. God values relationships more than riches. He does not want to give man everything so man can be on his own, disowning God. God created everything and everything God created needs God, so it can be sustained and grow. Having God’s blessings without God Himself is having the joy that will be gone in the morning. God trusts in His wisdom to keep man wise. He trusts in His power to provide and protect man. He trusts in His life to keep man in eternity. Eternity is life with God and death is life without God.
We can no longer be clueless and useless; there’s a plan set for the goodness of our lives. God understands Himself; He knows His story. He is the Alpha and Omega. Who was; who is and who is still to come. He is not a man that He can lie; nor the son of man that He can repent. He who promised, is faithful to fulfil. God’s original plan still stands.
Ephesians 1:3-14: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the beloved.
In Him we have the redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and on earth -in Him.
In Him also we have obtained
