Finally I get to eeas this, the very fiest "graphic nove" (before.the phrase existed) The art is absolutely fabulous, Matt Baker truly qas a master! So were the writers... sadly this was not their masterpiece! The story is pretty awful and does not age well. But it was not prime stuff for its time. Its soap opera melodrama. The main character keeps jumping from the arms of the two female protagonists wirhout much logic, just for cheap suspense. The plot is a convoluted mess of ham fisted vignettes of corruption all leading to the cheesy moral victory of the protagonist and his lady love. Its worth it for the art and the archival value. That's it.
