Rob started his big break as a writer by letting his readers in on his journey as a poet, with his poetry notebook “The Feelings Within Da Kid Poems VOL 1”.
Rob’s poetry is described as “uncensored” in a way of being wild, off the wall, real, and not accepted in society as censored.

    One Hundred Percent Me

    All the Way to the Top

    This is my canvas; I’m going to paint it how I want.

    There is no right or wrong way to poetry; I like to write alone, think back to Cereal City—that’s where I’m from.

    On the outside, you’ll see a lot,

    As in a young black boy looking like the rest yet nowhere near like them.

    Nobody will know the real me until they hear this;

    Don’t nobody know already because I don’t like people, and I’m afraid to tell the truth.

    On the inside, there are a lot of kindness,

    Sensitivity,

    Caring,

    And emotions.

    You’ll know what kind of guy I am when you take your time out to figure it out or just sit there and look into my eyes, and you’ll see the most loving guy you’ve ever met.

    But when you take me the wrong way, you’ll see the whole opposite of what you just read;

    I’ll look the same as when there’s nothing wrong with me,

    Silent as darkness.

    Looking like I’m mean, mugging you, yet that’s my natural face expression, and then people will start asking me what’s wrong with me;

    Don’t ask that!

    Please don’t underestimate me because you will see a lot that you will not expect,

    Something you will expect a young black teen who loves basketball,

    Gangbangs with other dumbass people on the street and a fuck boy;

    That’s not me not even if I tried.

    Everything you’ll never expect a young black teen who loves to skateboard,

    Listen to music, and write poetry.

    2

    Two Beloveds

    I stand on my own two beloveds,

    Trying to stay up and perfect my craft of writing the art of poetry.

    Being able to type the way you feel all the time:

    Sadness,

    Happiness,

    Pain,

    Fear, and more.

    Feeling the way of ugly copper or sexy gold.

    If I don’t write, people will never see the real color of the moon; they will never understand the colors of the moon, just a nasty red moon.

    I’m that nasty copper penny that wants to be as attractive as a pot of gold;

    I see I’ll never be that pot of gold if I don’t keep trying to perfect my craft.

    3

    Cocoa Butter Massages

    I once told you, Can be the most hurtful, and it does hurt within those moments, but the sweet and warmest things are the things you think about and remember the most, disregarding what has been said.

    You disagree on what I said, so you turn your back on me while we’re in bed.

    Keep that attitude; that’s not going to stop me from rubbing and gripping your ass that’s a nice golden brown after rubbing your back.

    You can’t help but drop your attitude and throw everything back.

    I know you love it when you rub agents when I can’t help but stand up; with you, I’m not getting up, even if my thigh starts cramping up.

    Let’s just live within the moment; there’re no fuck-ups.

    Fresh out of the tub, the selection of Rod Wave and Moneybagg has you in such a mood.

    But you just hopped in the bed after we smoked outa the bong;

    You hardly oil your body well, but I guess that’s a task you leave for me, and you and I both know that I’m willing.

    The best time of the night or best time in the earliest morning, approaching to our favorite section of intimacy.

    Not just feeling my favorite spot of you or adoring and seeking little beauty spots on you,

    Gripping and rubbing into my favorite spot and feeling while
