    The model of research design is an interactive one. Your research questions are not the starting point or controlling piece of the design, but they are the center of the model, and they connect most directly to all the other components.

    The design of a study is influenced by many factors, including your resources, research skills, perceived problems, ethical standards, the research setting, and the data you collect and results you draw from these data during the study.

    My approach to design is interactive in three senses. First, the design model itself is interactive; each of the components has implications for all of the other components, rather than the components being in a linear, one-directional relationship with one another.
