Don't be Sad, God Loves You - Julia Laura Sacriena
Chapter 1. Words that Heal
The woman is 8 months pregnant, and her boyfriend doesn't want to take responsibility. Crying in confusion, she went to the abortion clinic.
On the way a mother stopped him and said, Son, I don't know you nor do I want to bother you. But when I saw you, I was moved to say that the Lord Jesus loves you. He never forgets you. Everything will end well.
The words were very strong and deep for him, the woman then knelt on the street corner, surrendered to the Lord Jesus, and gave up the desire for an abortion. Now his son has become a singer and a motivator who is used by God to touch the hearts of many people. The boy's name was Israel Houghton.
Words contain power, both positive and negative. Cynical and sarcastic words, born of a bitter heart, inevitably arouse anger, indignation, slander, and quarrels (Ephesians 4:31).
On the other hand, those who have experienced new life in Christ should have words of encouragement, support, and encouragement. His words make those who hear him get grace (Ephesians 4:29) and dare to live righteously even though they have to take risks.
So, do our words build the people around us? May our words be a blessing so that those who are hopeless become hopeful, those who are angry become gentle, those who are indifferent become caring, those who are vengeful become longing to forgive, those who have broken relationships can be reconciled. That is the gift of new life through powerful words.
When our tongue is ruled by grace, our words will flow blessings to others.
There is no life so broken that God cannot restore it, God's grace is more than enough to restore everything
Jesus bless you
Chapter 2. Be strong with Jesus
An old story from India, tells of a rat who was frightened by seeing a cat. That's why the mouse went to the sorcerer to turn him into a cat. After the mouse turned into a cat, again he was gripped by fear because he saw a dog. So he immediately went back to the sorcerer and asked him to turn him into a dog.
After becoming a dog, again he was afraid when he met a tiger and asked the magician to turn him into a tiger. But when he came back complaining that he had met a hunter, the sorcerer refused to help anymore. I'll turn you into a mouse again because even though you're a tiger, your guts are still a mouse's.
