Walk into Purpose: 52-Week Devotional Journal to Draw You Closer to God in Order to Walk in Purpose
By Alesha Dobos

About this ebook
Walk Into Purpose was birthed from the secret place to push you to consistently pursue intimacy with God so that you may discover and fully walk in your purpose. It was created to encourage, challenge, prune, and stretch you. It’s when life knocks you down and you’re on the verge of giving up that you tend to withdraw yourself from the Father and feel most distant from Him. This 52-week devotional journal is to help you through every season of your life, whether good or bad, to drive you more into purpose, and encourage you to press into the Father in times of difficulties so you can continue to walk in purpose without delay or becoming stagnant. Purpose is rooted in one thing – the Father. Without pursuit there is no intimacy, and without intimacy there is no relationship, and without relationship, there is no purpose.
This book will help you:
• Consistently pursue intimacy with the Father
• Discover and know God as Abba
• Come into your identity as His son or daughter
• Walk in the fullness of your purpose
Alesha Dobos
Alesha Dobos is first and foremost a daughter of God. She has a passion to see people delivered and made whole, while pursuing intimacy with the Father and walking in purpose. It was through her own experience of being delivered from fear, rejection, pride, comparison, and insecurities that she realized how much being bound can keep someone from having a close and personal relationship with the Father and walking in purpose. Although Alesha grew up in church, it wasn’t until she went through her process of healing and deliverance that she was able to know God as Abba Father, come into her identity as daughter, and walk in the fullness of who God created her to be. Alesha attends The Father’s House of Baltimore under the leadership of Apostle Yolanda Stith and Pastor Kori Stith. She is currently a dancer at 13:46 Dance Ensemble. She also earned her B.A. in Human Relations and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Psychology.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
First and foremost, to God. Without You I am nothing. Holy Spirit, as gentle and powerful as You are, I could not have done this without You. All of this is a result of Your trust in me. It is an honor and a privilege to share what I have gained in our secret place with the world.
To my mom, Deborah Patillo. Thank you for your constant support and prayers. Even as an adult, you have been there when I needed you. I have gained the best part of you – your love for God and for people, and your selfless heart of giving.
To my Apostle Yolanda Stith and Pastor Kori Stith. Thank you for your yes.
Because of you, I have received true deliverance, have come into my identity as a daughter, and now I am able to walk in purpose. I was able to birth something beautiful out of wholeness. Thank you for your consistency, integrity, and love. I love you both.
To my best friend, Yemi. Thank you for always being there for me, speaking life into the dead parts of me, and believing in me when I didn’t even believe in myself. You have seen every side of me and have stayed by my side and remained consistent for the last 16 years. Thank you for your prayers, correction, wisdom, and love.
To the rest of my family, friends, and church family, thank you! Thank you for your love, prayers, and support. I love you!

About The Author
INTRODUCTION
Everyone goes through different stages in their lives. Not one day or week will look the same no matter how structured and organized one tries to be. You may have really great days when you are on fire for God and feel unstoppable. Then you experience moments of sadness or grief. You have days where you are struggling with sin, fear, doubt, or hopelessness. Life’s circumstances cause you to feel distant from God. In the mist of warfare and on the verge of giving up, you need encouragement. Maybe you feel as though you are on a rollercoaster with your relationship with God, constantly going up and down. The thing is, God doesn’t move; people do. God is always there waiting for an invitation to dine with you. God is always there waiting for you to initiate your time with Him. He longs to speak to you. He longs to share His heart with you. He longs for intimacy with you. He longs for you to know Him as Abba Father. He longs for you to come into your full identity as His son or daughter. He longs for you to walk in purpose and to be all He created and called you to be. The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. It is his goal to separate you from the Father by causing you to question your identity and the Father’s love for you. However, it is up to you to cast down the lies of the enemy, shift your mindset, fight for your identity daily (because you do not wrestle against flesh and blood), and be consistent in your pursuit of intimacy with the Father. This will enable you to walk in your purpose.
Walk into Purpose can either be completed in chronological order or any order based on your need, situation, or season. It can be completed individually, with your family or friends, or as a small group in college or at church. This devotional is meant to challenge you, encourage you, and grow you spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. It is my goal to encourage you to persevere through the hardships, warfare, and trials and tribulations so that you can remain consistent with your pursuit of intimacy with the Father and be all that God called you to be. Without knowing God as Abba and coming into your identity as His son or daughter, you cannot walk in the fullness of your purpose. It is my hope that this 52-week interactive devotional will draw you closer to God, help you come into your identity, and push you to walk in your purpose. Each devotional includes weekly prayers, declarations, and/or spaces for reflection.
Disclaimer: Walk into Purpose is not to be used to replace the Bible but to encourage you to go deeper in the Word, learn more about who God is, strengthen your relationship with Him as Abba, and discover your why
so you can be all that God created you to be.
Week 1
TRUST GOD’S TIMING
He replied, "The Father alone has the authority to set those
dates and times, and they are not for you to know."
~~Acts 1:7 NLT~~
So many times we ask God, when is this going to happen?
or when is that going to happen?
In this passage, the disciples wanted to know when Jesus was going to restore Israel. And like them, we are reminded that His timing is perfect, to trust Him, and to have faith that He has not forgotten about us.
You may be looking at your age and wondering when you are going to get married. You see your family and friends being successful while you’re living paycheck to paycheck. What about your purpose? You know God has called you to do great things, but you’re not living it out. In your frustration, you ask, Lord, when is it going to be my turn?!
The Lord told Jeremiah, Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations
(Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV). God may not have called you to be a prophet, but you were called to do something great. You were born with a purpose. Be encouraged! Like Jeremiah, before you were born, God had a plan for you. He knew exactly what you were going to do and when you were going to do it. If God can feed the birds and clothe the lilies, how much more does He care about you (Matthew 6:25-30)?
You see, God doesn’t want you to feel like you don’t have a purpose because you do. He doesn’t want you to struggle because He desires for you to live a prosperous life. He doesn’t want you to feel lonely because He desires an intimate relationship with you. However, you have to do your part too. Matthew 6:33 (NLT) says, Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Trust His plan. Trust the process. Trust His timing. Do not worry about things you have no control over. You’re so busy looking at other people’s lives instead of discovering who you are in Christ and who He created you to be. Your
