It is the story of Bernard Whytham, a young farmer's boy growing up in an isolated rural community, where life is simple, harsh and at times, dangerous. Life is a struggle as he copes with the growing pains of young love, family relationships
Anthony Clent
A survivalist and self-confessed tree-hugger, Anthony Clent was born in Oxford. England, in 1944. By profession he was an ICU nurse, specializing in this high stress, traumatic field. Taking time-out to preserve his sanity, he worked for some years in agriculture and forestry. He once owned a small-holding in Cornwall, England. He grew up in the beautiful, unspoilt English countryside of the 1950s, an environment which is reflected in his writing.
