PREFACE

When I was growing up, I was a bit of an 'odd ball' and was often misunderstood. I never really fit in anywhere and had a completely different outlook on life than most of those around me. Always curious and often perplexed, I was told, "Life isn't fair, so just get over it." As an adult, my need to make sense of this crazy world grew even stronger... so with steadfast determination, I forged ahead to find out why.

I remember hearing that we never stop learning our whole life and it’s funny now that I’m in my sixties, because back then I was not at all happy with that statement. In grade school, I enjoyed learning the basic stuff like reading and writing, because it opened a new world for me. But it wasn't long before I started dreading school and all the force-fed rubbish they were constantly pushing on us. Later, I realized that I was just tuning out information which I subconsciously knew was nonsense, half-truths and total lies.

I spent years exploring, researching and questioning everything... wanting to uncover deeper truths to make sense of this world we live in. I worked at countless jobs, traveled throughout the United States and Canada and met all kinds of people with differing thoughts, opinions and outlooks on life. Before I had regular Internet access, I only had critical thinking, common sense and my intuition to sort through and decipher the world around me. Life never seemed fair and was continually confusing to me, with so many injustices inflicted upon the people. Curious to learn and understand, I’ve always been a seeker of knowledge and wisdom. The dictionary defines wisdom as "The ability to discern or judge what is true and knowledge is gained through experience and reasoning." Knowledge can exist without wisdom, but not the other way around. As they say, ‘knowledge is power’ but it can be dangerous without wisdom. I’ve witnessed this very thing with our government and world leaders... which is a very big can of worms I’m about to open.

Never underestimate the power of a few committed people to change the world.

Writing this book has been on the back burner of my mind for a very long time. What held me back until now was feeling that so many people just weren’t ready to face difficult and even shocking truths of how we’ve all been deceived and manipulated. Most people I’m in contact with on social media have been awake and aware of the deception and lies to varying degrees, but it’s been an ongoing learning process through the years. Lately I’ve observed so many more waking up every day... finally realizing something just isn’t right and starting to question everything. With the world getting more chaotic and crazier every day, I’ve decided it’s time to put together some important information which could help people understand what’s really been going on and why life has always been such a struggle.

The intention of this book is not to cause anyone to feel depressed or hopeless. Completely the opposite. Before we can finally put a stop to all the corruption and lies, we must face the fact that this even exists. Once our eyes are open and our hearts and minds fully engaged, we can all play a part in creating much needed changes in our lives and in our world.

THIS WORLD IS NOT WHAT WE’VE BEEN TAUGHT TO BELIEVE...

Nothing in this world operates the way you think it does. Banks do not actually loan money, governments are not empowered to protect you, the police department is not there to serve you, institutions of higher learning: colleges and educational institutes are not there to educate you.
