my heart expands and collapses under the weight of my love for you.

and you do not return the sentiment, but i do not care.

for you are mine in my own little world, and in my own little world i am yours.

dangle me above the open earth so that i may sing my thoughts with fear

i know how you love to hear me cry

drag me out and spill my guts before the world or let me die

oh, angel of death, cut off my lungs and drink my blood. i am unworthy to share the space i hold.

i stare into your picture; not out of desire or care or want, but a self-hating need, an eternal debate between me myself and i over whether to hate or to love you, to envy or pity you; nothing i do or say will ever equate to this moment, this exact moment, where my tears are sliding down the paths most traveled on my cheeks, where my throat is closing around my screams, where my brain is turning inside out; still, i do or say nothing, i only look in your vile eyes and wish that it was me that could be such a horrid parasite and still be so loved.

    i am a lamb

i am soft, i am free. i am innocent. i am plain, untouched, fresh.

    you are more
