    1 - Causes and Symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue

    Adrenal fatigue is a term used to describe the signs and symptoms resulting from the failure of the adrenal glands to function optimally. A syndrome usually linked to prolonged or intense stress, adrenal fatigue may also result (during or after) from an acute or chronic infection such as influenza, pneumonia, bronchitis, and other respiratory infections.

    The primary symptom of adrenal fatigue is fatigue that does not seem to go away after sleeping it off. The problem is that this condition is unlike other health conditions, such as ankle sprain, that you can easily pinpoint. You can suffer from adrenal fatigue and still appear and act like everything is all right in the world.

    What the world cannot see is that under that seemingly normal exterior is a sense of tiredness and general un-wellness. It is common for individuals with adrenal fatigue to require stimulants like coffee and colas to get themselves going in the daytime.
