T.R. Buck

T.R. Buck is a former Law Enforcement Officer, who was a heathen. After accepting Christ in 2000, he engaged in ministry and was quickly forced into hands-on spiritual warfare but fought His calling. When Buck finally submitted to God, it started a year of tangible, physical spiritual warfare. Buck and his family were deserted by their church as they faced demons alone every night at 3 a.m. Only by the grace of God did they survive.

    Preface

    ::: Perspective :::

    What if everything in the Bible is true?

    What if the battle between good and evil is real and tangible?

    What if God is exactly who He said He is?

    When we look at the Bible, we like to quote single scriptures and fashion them in an order that verifies or validates what our flesh feels comfortable with. In my humble biblical opinion, for a biblical precept or stance to be accepted it must be proven by the totality of the Holy Scriptural context, and not one random scripture pulled out of its context to support one’s own comfort. A great example of this scriptural misrepresentation is found by looking at Marshall Applewhite and the Heaven’s Gate cult (History.com, February 9, 2010). According to Métraux (2022), Applewhite used Scriptures from the Holy Bible to convince his followers that the Hale-Bop comet was masking a spacecraft that would take them to Heaven. But in order to get on the spacecraft, or to get to Heaven, they had to commit mass suicide by drinking a mixture of poison and vodka as the comet passed by the Earth at its closet point. This is just one example, albeit extreme, but just one example, nonetheless. Unfortunately, there are many more examples, and even more errors taught all across the world.

    So, for me it is not about a certain theological or denominational bent, or my own fleshly comfort or beliefs. In fact, it does not matter what you or I think! It only matters what God said! It is all about perspective. It is only about the complete counsel of the Holy Scriptures; it is all about the entirety of what God said to the early Prophets, and what He led the original Apostles to write. It is all about Sola Scriptura! Nothing less, and nothing more (Proverbs 30: 5-6, Revelation 22:18-19, NKJV). So, with this in mind, I hope that you enjoy this short fire-hose teaching on what a Biblical Lifestyle is according to the Holy Scriptures. All scriptural references that I use will be from the New King James Version (Except Numbers 6 on Page 22). And this teaching is in respect of; 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV) ¹⁶ All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, ¹⁷ that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

    So why am I writing this teaching now? There are a plethora of other more qualified authors out there in the land of Christendom. Surely, they will cover this material eventually, and they would probably cover it better than I. Well, I must confess, there is a fire in my spirit that will not quench. This fire will not leave me alone, because of the times that we are living in. Because of the state of the church around the world. Specifically, because of the church here in the United States. The western church is spiritually weak, and it is dying; the leaders are more interested in keeping their 501C3 tax status than they are preaching the gospel to the lost, the attendees are sick and filled with fear, and the presence of God is scarcely found. The spiritual leaders are controlled by the big tithers, because apparently since the time of Acts God is not able to meet the churches financial needs. The last two years have exposed the need for strong biblical leaders, who only preach biblical messages. In fact, most churches shut their doors at the threat of a virus that has proven to be statistically like a strong flu, depending on whether you listen to proven and tested science, or the spirit of this age and its primetime mouthpieces. Now the purposeful unscientific medical care is another story, but I will digress from that - I am not a doctor and I do not play one on TV or in the pulpit. But somewhere along the way a feel-good message akin to one of Joel Osteen’s weekly mantras; simple self-help repetitions that tickle the ears and give the hearer a warm fuzzy feeling has replaced messages like Sinners in the hands of an Angry God which was preached by Jonathan Edwards back in 1741. Example, all you have to do is go to the closest grocery store, go inside to the produce aisle, and stop and observe for a minute. It will not be long before you see an elderly person walk by you dressed head to toe in a homemade hazmat suit; surgical gloves or worse, a face mask or scarf - not an N95
