RECIPES READY IN 30 MINUTES
Recipe ideas for lunch or dinner where you can sit down to a meal within 30 minutes of starting to cook.
In this collection of recipes recipes ready in 30 minutes
I suggest meat recipes (chicken, pork, fish, seafood), vegetable recipes, pasta, hearty starter salads or soups/chutneys.
Whether you're on the run and don't want to have much time for cooking, or it's hot summer days and you want to get out of the kitchen quickly, I've tried to bring you ideas in this collection that you can feed your family and get out of the kitchen quickly.
There are quick recipes, suitable for all seasons, with ingredients you can find all year round.
SALMON ROUNDS WITH GLAZE AND BASMATI RIC
INGREDIENT:
2 rounds smoked salmon
4 tablespoons olive oil
juice and zest of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger (optional)
1 tablespoon honey/maple syrup
1 tablespoon mustard with grains
grated sea salt
ground freshly ground pepper
For the basmati rice:
1 tablespoon olive oil
170 g basmati rice
1 small clove garlic, chopped into small cubes
220 ml water
250 ml chicken soup/vegetable soup
1 2*2 cm knob butter/ 2 tablespoons oil
2 sprigs chopped green onion
a few sprigs of chopped fresh parsley
freshly ground pepper
salt
PREPARATION:
I put the salmon rounds in a heatproof dish.
I mixed the grated lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, grated ginger, honey and grainy mustard in a bowl.
I coated the salmon with these, then seasoned it with sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
I put the dish in the oven, on the top baking setting, at 210 °C for 15-20 minutes, checking after 15 minutes to see if it was golden and firm when pressed with a fork. I moved the pot to the oven on the highest setting for 2-3 minutes - I kept an eye on the pot to make sure the fish didn't burn. If done close the oven and leave the dish in the oven, on the heat, until we assemble the dish, moving the dish to the middle of the oven. Even if the oven is turned off, the fish continues to cook in the heat
